"Hi, I can’t select the class Hellfire Warlock. I meet all the requirements, but it won’t become available.

Do you have a devil pact with your warlock class? Did you try to relog, in case a qualification feat is needed?

Yes, I do have the Devil’s Pact. I’ve recreated and respecced my character about 15 times using RCR, tried different methods and builds, but Hellfire Warlock is still unavailable every single time. =(

Skills: Intimidate 6, Lore: The Planes 12, Spellcraft 6

Spellcasting: Must have Elemental Blast and must be able to cast at least one dark invocation.

Alignment: Evil.

Pact: Devil.

Ok, do you have the ranks invested into the appropiate skills? The number you see during your level-up screen is important, without any synergies, buffs, feats, equipment, . . .

Do you have the Elemental Blast AND a dark invocation?

Evil Alignment is the simplest, I doubt that would be it.

Considering you said you RCRd "15 times" and a requirement of the PrC is having a Dark Invocation, I assume you're not high level enough (16 lvls of invocation progression) to get a Dark Invocation to be able to get the class.

I was able to pick it fine with NE, but as others stated here here are requirements that didn't exist that changed a year ago.



It will be at level 16+ if you have met the requirements (as the last one hits at 15). If you went full Warlock into HF. Note that this can be delayed if you obviously have other classes/etc. But pretty much once you have a Dark Invocation (The level 4 spells). Then the next one should allow HF if the requirements are met.

If you're having issues we need more information, like your class levels, etc.

Level 16+? I always used to take Hellfire Warlock as soon as I reached the 2nd spell circle. Has something changed now?

* Hellfire fix to feat. Requiring feat 4406 (Invocation Progression IV)

As explained above, Hellfire warlock now requires a Dark Invocation.
