A Lore question about Tchazzar

Since the subject came up yesterday, and Heckalyn and I didn't know how to handle it due to potential divergences, or lack of clarity, within the lore, we thought it best to just seek a definitive response here in the forum.
Premise
Old Empires sets Tchazzar as the great hero and liberator of Chessenta, who ends up being worshiped as a god after his mysterious disappearance. It also states that, while his worshipers believe him to be a human, he was in fact secretly a Red Dragon running a social experiment in the hopes of achieving godhood... which he briefly did.
In the official lore, during the Time of Troubles, Tchazzar takes on one of the three pieces of Tiamat's divinity after she's smashed by Gilgeam; he eats the other two pieces, but this causes him to transform into the reborn Tiamat, which, as a collateral effect, kills him.
Later, according to Dragons of Faerun, Tiamat resurrects him in the last days of the Rage of Dragons, in 1373 DR, at which point he forcefully takes over Cimbar, and starts a campaign to re-unify Chessenta by force.
Question/s
At some unspecified point, Tchazzar's true identity is revealed to the general public, but the lore is not clear on when this happens. Also, since some of the canonical events, such as the ascension of Kelemvor, have been sped up on the server, but others, such as the rebirth of Bane, have not, we are also not sure whether Tchazzar's resurrection and return might have also happened early, or whether they are still 9 years into the future.
Given that our characters come from Cimbar, it would be of particular importance if their homeland had just been taken over by a red dragon, or not.
There might also be the matter of Cimbarians in 1373 DR readily accepting the Chaotic Evil red dragon as their legitimate ruler despite their culture being characterized as leaning Lawful Good, but that might just be an inconsistency between 2E and 3.5E lore...
