Four nights will quickly dream away the time."

PROFILE
Physical DescriptionColor is manifest in artful creature, an ashen maiden made salient before the observant as one touched by the planes and beholden to features of curious note. Crowned vividly by hair shaded violet and mauve, interwoven, presented is an almost mercurial masterpiece that extends in reach to hips and the apex of tail's foundation. Satin strands, defiant of condition by witness, never tangle and rare is a day gone by that some form of the floral is not woven into ornate exhibit.
From zenith of cascading locks oft drawn back and clasped low at nape, two horns of ebony hue reach back over delicate scalp and curl upward by coda in praise of moon and stars. Semblance gnarled, keratin indented similarly to the knotted surfaces of woodland trees, twin branches by texture and touch, gradually take on a velvet-like veneer toward tapering points. Eyes, likewise dark and framed by obsidian lashes, unveil as inky pools in the presence of plump lips; the curvature of feminine maw hints at the whisper of prose uttered both audible and silent. An elegant nose, small, separates thick violet brows from a subdued chin and slender jaw, aspect made whimsical by a point slightly upturned.
Rounded at base and cupped slightly inward, cinderous ears are drawn to an elongated, near-elven point. Toward ashen acuminate, however, where the edges of flesh taper downward rather than up, extremity is wrought with a fine-textured tuft of violet fur. Beyond and below, dual lobes are pierced and hung with ornamentation. Skin, blemish free, and eyes lined faint with kohl, it's evident the woman places a measure of pride in appearance, lavishly tended, if not a little vain. If one were to take into account the female form, wandering eyes are privy to proportions short and slender, with sleight curvature that appropriates a dancer's physique. By approximation, one might judge her to be roughly five feet and two inches tall, devoid of excess weight beyond healthy requirement and with enough muscle, only, to artfully define the softness of smokescape.
The final stop of vision's brief journey highlights the woman's non-prehensile appendage; a smoke-grey tail affixed beneath delicate arch at the base of feminine back. Thicker at its base, the ashen addition attenuates toward tip where fans cespitose of vibrant feathers matched to the same hue and vibrancy as the woman's hair. Clavicle is claimed by drape of the delicate, a necklace, treasure most cherished. Mithral made and vined with lustrous gold, clasped at nape and rarely removed. Pendant is pendulum at its end, a black sapphire ringed with amethyst stones. Inimitable, irreplaceable. Celestial text on back face's sheen, is scribed an intimate message unseen. Most common adornment alongside: flowers and flora of varying size, reactive to emotion and aught keen felt, besides.
Personality
Presented carefree, more oft than not, what's voiced is with cadence and action made dance. Elegantly she carries herself, compared not to the rigid mannerisms of the noble, but rather, that graceful found in nature's raw form; a dreamlike essence shaded otherworldly: the slow unfurl of a blooming bud, trickling rain on a window pane, or the ritualistic made magic by heart beat and firelight.
Travelling troubadour, relentless reveler, spellsinger; she is ever self-reliant and an ambassador for the freedoms of choice. Keen to sample all that life has to offer to the fullest extent, an eloquent poet and whimsical romantic, she is not above championing a cause that catches her interest. The depth of dedication, and even the cause itself, has a tendency to change from week to week and season to season, unless otherwise bound or tethered. Alas, her greatest opponent will ever be the woefully uninspired.
Prone to the curious, the frivolous and impulsive, what's honest is slave to a capricious nature. Quickly come, quickly gone, that felt is experienced in the fullness of extremes. Where sunlight beams, so too can it burn, and gentle rain can be shaped torrent by thunder. Hospitality is a kindness high held, and quid pro quo means one has as is owed. Combat, predatory, comes only when born of necessity and is imbued with trickery, or otherwise avoided.
Language
Both spoken and written word are constructed in third person prose with a tendency to riddle and rhyme; an oddity that oft makes communication difficult for the unfamiliar or those unwilling to listen, decipher, or look deeper. No apologies are made for speech so patterned.

- Celestial, Fluency 4 - celestial elements, focused at the behest of aasimar partner.
- Elven, Fluency 6 - derivative of elven influence in the Faerie.

Oona by Yllande
Religion
Amongst the ever-living, raised within the Plane of Faerie, Oona's religious proem was late developed and anomalous; absent the worship of deities and matters of faith, as per the fey. In place, inner and outer courts were venerated, dogma and tenants found foreign, supplant by things felt and sensed. Of these, growing up among the Seelie, Titania was seen as both Mother and Queen, in lead and lord over all. Oona is particularly reverent toward Hyrsam (also known as Damh) for the legends surrounding his personification of music, and to a lesser extent: Verenestra, whom inspires and is in turn admired.
Having long earned her respect for the lessons taught through those close, Hoar is held in high esteem for need, what could be achieved with through positive means, and the divine oaths of her partnered half, Destin. The concept, at its core, is not so different from that she knows, albeit the laws affecting a little different and ironic recompense closer to mischief. Never the less, those who treat well the faerie were often well deserving. Those who do not, are besot with earned recompense. Built upon this notion, introduced early to the faith through association, Oona has come to venerate the Doombringer in her own way.
Of the Faerûnian pantheon introduced, Sharess and the nature deities Meiliki, Lurue, and Shiallia are also found fond would that she be so inclined toward faith in and of a traditional sense. Sune and Hanali Celanil have similarly earned a place of inspiration and guidance.
BIOGRAPHY
Ancestor
An unknown handful of relatives prior prone to the signs of fiend or fey, never has the twice blooded manifest in a single being prior.
------------- -------------
Eokiaras - NE, Folarran.
One of the first Folarran, blooded both Nymph and Baatezu (Fiend Folio, pg 39). It is from this creature, that the faintest traces of the fiendish can be found in her person. Eokiaras met an unfortunate mad end, when the two conflicting natures of her blood inevitably tore her apart. Oona does not have any awareness of this ancestor. The blood of that devil, however, continues to surface and resurface in strange ways.------------- -------------
Baastos - CG, Satyr.
The ancestor of which Oona is aware. Her bloodline has another resurgence of fey energy some generations ago, wherein the trickster, Baastos, did draw a maiden from her rest and into the forest. Oona has met Baast on three separate occasions, but not since departing the Plane of Faerie.

Future
Meant for kinder things, for melodies and revelry, it was an achievement of the spirit met with witnessed success. However, recent events emergent in the Year of Maidens brings to bear a new light for the Coast and its cast; having endured much in its approach. Rife with uncertain determination, it is a time of solemn reflection and a call to action for the now-persecuted tiefling.
Under sufferance of injustice, withdrawn, her spirit finds solace in the thunders of Hoar's call, and all the more through the deity's Oathsworn. What had been a previous curiosity, mortal morality has painstakingly unveiled itself with poignant clarity, banishing obscurity through ironic lesson, hypocrisy, and the dishonest examples made of righteous proclaim.
The wanderer is beholden to the large majority of her life on the Coast settling shattered in her hands, ash amidst the ashen, her attention shifts to a newer calling among the Sundered, attempting overcome hurt with diligence and the poetic promise of time in bide.
Heirloom Items
Horn of Revelry, instrument (source).
No musician need play alone when an entire coterie of fey musicians is only a note away. Hyrsam crafts these items for his friends, but some have found their way into the hands of others. This horn is crafted from five types of polished wood, fitted together via complicated grooves. It plays a unique sound that begs to be joined in harmonies.Blodyn Teulu, flower crown.
An otherworldly crown of flowers imbued with the magic of the plane of faerie, plucked and plumbed and weaved from all manner of youthful experiences therein; tied to occasion, to celebration, to milestones. A collection of living blooms which, much like the floral that buds from her horns, is reactive to fey magics and the emotions of her person.Pact Amaranthine, necklace.
While not a memento of her past, this trinket dates back to Oona's early days on the coast and could well be considered her most cherished possession. It is anchor and key, tether and dream, it is the physical manifestation of bonded promise; both physically and metaphorically. The Dreamer's Lyre, instrument.
An artifact imbued with the magics of the Faerie Plane that when struck, or made to play specific melodies, has the ability to influence a person's dreams, be it solely by mood or imagery inspired by the played notes (also a potential plothook). Exceptional musicians familiar with the specifics may possess the ability to enter the dreams of a slumbering listener.
