Bron's Wonderous Goods (for sale!)

Bron Ferros was born and raised in Amn and lived a relatively normal and mundane life. This boredom was astounding and to keep his mind occupied he began to tinker with small devices and even began to mingle in the arcane arts. It was not long before he found that he should follow Gond and seek his blessings and guidance in invention.

What first began as a hobby quickly became a trade. Customers from all walks of life would see if Bron had anything of use for them. Even if the client did not find something currently in stock, they were at least entertained and awed at some of the more complex works of this now-aging tinkerer.

His time in Amn had run it's course. Following Gond's guidance he became a Wanderer and sought out areas of innovation or towns that simply needed new inventions. Finding the roads to be treacherous, he turned his skills to smithing adequate armor for himself. The result is some exceptionally flexible full plate. Though it is made of ordinary iron, the strategically placed links allow him full movement range. The only remaining hinderance is due to the weight of the material. Nevertheless, successfully casting spells has become far easier. With that issue addressed, his journey has led him to Baldur's Gate which seems to be in abundance of raw materials... and short on ideas of what to do with the goods.

If you seek Bron and his works, look for aging human in orange full-plate armor, or occasionally similar colored robes if he is in town. A pack containing numerous items is always slung across his back.

He seeks tomes and books on topics of the arcane arts and invention. Magic has proved a useful addition to the items he creates and this may give you some leverage if you find wares you like.
