Hello there i'm Baalio .. are you a druid?

I am a servant of the land if thats what you mean Traveller. We all walk the land but there are those of us who see to aid and serve. Is there something I can answer for you?

hum ... well i am .. and i've been searching for the circle of the elder for months now. Our presence here is lacking .

Ah, but that is where you are wrong the servants of the land are all around. You just have to know where to look. The fowl of the air and beast of the land always know how to contact us. We do not run in a pack as wolves but we each serve the land in our own way and time. We do gather on occassion. Perhaps, you would care to join me for a walk some time when I can tell you more of the ways. My time is short as of now but I would enjoy the walk.

* From within the tree near the shrine, a White owl watches the man with interest.*

*As Calen turns to leave, Tsali bumps Calen in the direction of the tree. Looking up, Calen notices the white owl.*

(Sylvan) "I see the owl, Tsali. Tis a beautiful sight to behold. I wonder what it is doing here? It seems out of place, somehow, and yet, I wonder...."

*Looking closely at the white owl, Calen says in sylvan "Do you understand my words wise one? Do you speak the forest tongue?"

*After speaking to the white owl in Sylvan, Calen closely watches the bird.*

*a large sleek blank panther drops from a large tree near the two. She roars and eyes them both warily. After sniffing around them, she drops a note at Calens feet*

Calen,

I have been made aware of you and will speak with you when I am able. Your prayers, humble and true, have been heard. Remember, you seek us, but we aren't easily found, but those who do are always watched. The birds our eyes, the trees our ears. Heed the words of the Owl before you.

You are to take no action against her and you know whom I mean. You are to meet me promptly at the Shrine of Silvanus, alone, we must speak and I would know of your progress as well. You will learn, quickly, hardly anything escapes my attention. There are other matters we must speak of to, other Rangers have begun the same path as you.

You are free to investigate, but take no large decisive action without the prescence and permission of the Council, nor needlessly throw your life away if you encounter something. I will be gathering you all shortly, together, to discuss your tasks and see how you progress, continue to be diligent in your efforts, you all show great promise.

Another elven ranger of Mielekki has contacted me wishing to be made Seeker and complete the tests. He spoke of former times with Dael and has already completed some of these tests. His name is Elohir (([Elohir15])).

I also kindly ask you to consider meeting with the ranger Valer Korolenko. While he is follower of Malar, his heart would follow the spirits of the woods and only serves the Beast until his search for a person is done. I believe him friend to the Circle even if you deem his belief and liaison as unsuitable at this point being not a follower of the lady. I ask you to talk to him and see for yourself the quality of the man he is (([Eternalcod]))

Lastly, I have met with Kyle Archer (([magicshisha])), follower of the Balanced Oak, I wonder if you have met with him before. He is interested in joining our group and I would welcome your thoughts on this. Being not druid, he has an interesting philosophy to nature and a skill in mediating difficult situations that could be useful.

I hope to meet with you soon myself, I know you seek me.

The boat arrived in the port of Baldur's Gate. Just another boat of many that leaves and picks passengers and goods of the city.

In the deck, an elf stood watching over the big city under his brown hood.

"As I left it..." thought to himself. He was glad of being back but at the same time he was sad by remembering what kept him away that much time. Narawivien, his mother was no longer in this plane. He wondered how many more he would see passing away before he could taste death himself.

Daelthrien lowered his hood and gazed uppon the city once more. There was no room for pain now. "Our task is a never ending one..." He remembered the words of his good friend Valek Sunborn, the paladin of Tyr. He should return to the shrine of Mielikki now...

[Elohir]

*Elohir wakes after a dream, one he believes that was given to him by Mielikki. He saw an elf, one who seemed familiar, approaching a shrine of Mielikki. The elf was saddened, but also happy to be home. The elf kneels down in front of the shrine and prays. There is a small lake with falls near the shrine and Elohir recognizes it as the shrine between Beregost and the Gate*. Upon waking, Elohir knows he must seek out Daelthrein.
