Building a new home and clan

Brent is seems to look curiously at the once abandoned sight as he begins seeing Grah running around, he decides to approach and see whats going on

Michar has done a lot of work to the old Bandit camp over the last few weeks. The main tent in the middle has now been repaired, and cleaned out. He has built two crude tables with benches and set them near the fire. The barrels in the back have been cleaned out and now hold clean rain water. There is also a large stack of firewood for the campfire.

He met with a gnome this past night, who boldly questioned the barbarian about what he was doing. Michar explained that he was working on his camp. There was a discussion about ownership, and the gnomes building a church, but Michar made it clear they could stay there if they used the small tents that were too small for him and Grah anyway. They could not build a church in his camp, and he expects them to help with replacing the firewood. The gnome had some reservations about sharing, and mentioned a friend that would want to talk to Michar. The northron just shrugged and said he didn't care what they thought about sharing, they could use the small tents or not as long as they stayed out of his and Grah's tents and didn't interfere with the work to fix the place up.

"They did what?" Kaltyra snorts on hearing the news in her occasional visits. "I knew this place was too close to Balder's Gate. We already have vermin troubles."

She never the less drops off a small bundle of healing moss for when wounded come seeking refuge. She might have something more specific in mind, but that is what she claims.

Michar retires to his camp in the old bandit fort, and finds the mess of bodies and carnage. He curses, but sets to cleaning up the mess so he can sleep in peace. He pulls the gates closed after throwing the bodies and parts into a huge bonfire.

"Gonna have to find out who did this." he mutters as he rolls himself in his furs to get some sleep.

Michar returns to the camp after an extended hunting expedition. He sees the unusual activity and new guests and shrugs, placing skins out to dry, and meat out to cure in the smoke tent. His only comment is:

"Hmm more new guests, must be friends of Grah's."
