*She takes a book from her bookcase. It a little dusty. Removing the dust, she looks at the cover. It is written Diary of travel. The pages are blank inside. "Might as well write down those last few days down" she says. She sits down at her desk, takes her quill and dips it in her bottle of ink*

Ninth-day of the third Tenday of Eleint, 1345
Well journal, I never wrote to you before. I said I would but I always kept pushing back. But now I think it's time for me to write down what happened to me in these last few days.

It all began four days ago. I was walking quietly to Candlekeep to sells some traps I managed to find in a recent dungeon raid. The merchant there loves it when I bring traps to him. But on my way I noticed people at the campfire on the Lion's way. It was Ivaris and Vauk. I never saw them hang out there so I approached them. Ivaris was sad. Even more than sad, tormented. Dajala, his girlfriend, left him, with no reason why.

Ivaris was telling us two that he would be leaving the coast, maybe go south. I was devastated that one of my best friend was leaving me, as another did before him. But whatever his decision was, I would support it. I encouraged him to take some time off. Explore the world a little. And come back only when he thinks he is ready to come back. Vauk was not as supportive than I was. He was more angry of Ivaris' reaction to the situation. Nonetheless I knew that deep down, Vauk was as sad as me to see Ivaris go away. It's by that time that I started to cry. Ivaris then came to me and said that I shouldn't cry. He wanted me to stay happy. But I could not, not after he said to me he was leaving. Vauk then punched him. I was troubled but I knew why Vauk did that. Soon after I was there, watching my friend walking away. It made me think of feelings I never thought I would ever have for a man.

Afterward, Vauk and I regained Baldur's Gate. While we were walking towards town we met Ivaris again. He told us that he wouldn't leave the region. I was happy to hear that, but also troubled by what my heart was saying to me. I didn't see him after. I thought he did leave without wanting to say it to me.

The next day while I was at the merchant's campfire, I met someone who called himself a shepard. He said that he led sheep and that like them people's heart need to be led. He made me realize other things about how Ivaris saw the world but as more and more people came, I decided to leave.

My walk led me to the center of the Cloakwoods. I fought the spiders there until I saw the shepard being chased by one. After I saved him, I asked what he was doing there. He said he was chased the by lizardmen. Plausible but not the focus here. We talked a little more about Ivaris and his burden. That made me realize that these feelings were stronger than what I ever felt for someone before. I left the Cloakwoods right afterward.

On my way back to Baldur's Gate, I met Selis Vhaire and her group on the Lion's way. We asked each other if we could group together to head back to the City. Funny how it was the first time I ever saw her wearing a chain shirt. As we walked back home, she said she were going to take a bath. I asked her if I could take one too and she accepted.

After I was squeaky clean, I walked to the lounge. Selis was already there with a glass of wine. She offered one and I accepted. Later on Ivaris came to the theater looking for me. I offered him to sit next to me. The awkwardness was so thick you could have sworn to be able to cut it with a knife. After a while I couldn't take it. I had to tell him. I had to say it to him. So I did. I dropped my glass and hugged him as strongly as I could. And I told him. I told him that I loved him.

We then took a walk. We walked to Candlekeep. We talked together at the inn. It was great. We then walked to Amn. We enjoyed the view on the decent of the Cloudpeaks. It was beautiful, but not as much as the man next to me. After a short brush with death and meeting up with Rhys, we head back to Baldur's Gate. On the way there, Rhys started to talk to Ivaris about why Dajala left him. I didn't really care about that so I left and came back to Baldur's Gate on my own.

The next day I saw my friend Alison for the first time in weeks. She was back at her home town during these weeks. She invited Randall, Nari and I to go for a swim in the new pool at the theater. It was fun and all but all fun must stop. As they left for different reasons, I was left alone. I sat in the lounge with Selis and her company and even had dinner there. After a short while, I heard that one of the performer, I think it was Gareut or maybe Jack, had friends over. It happened that two of them were Dajala and Firavain, the man she was now with. And as lucky as he was, Ivaris had to be there too. Seeing Dajala with another man pushed him over the edge. He came to the lounge but stated he wouldn't stay. I followed him. He was crying. He was hurting. I did my best to comfort him. Afterward he seemed better and he asked to take another walk. As we walked outside, we found ourselves paralyzed there, unable to walk anywhere else. As we gazed upon each other, we kissed. It was the best feeling I ever had in my life. Ivaris seemed pleased too, as he asked for another one. We then walked toward the eastern district. We sat by the fountain and talked for what seemed hours. As it was getting late, I decided to go home but not before kissing him again.

The next day, I met Ivaris by the campfire. I didn't stay long as I had something to take care of. But I asked him to come pick me up at Istari Tower later on. I was nervous. I swear I could count the seconds that passed. But eventually he came by to pick me up. He decided to take me to eat at the Fiddlepost inn in Beregost. The atmosphere, the wine, the dinner. Everything was perfect. We talked for what was hours. As we left it was already starting to get brighter. We watched the sun rise over Beregost. It was the best day of my life right at that time. We then walked back to Istari Tower. I wanted to see his quarters. As a matter of fact he lived on the road. He was surprised to see his quarters. They are big. Twice as much as mine. I then invited him to my quarters. There I took my special bottle of champagne. The one I never thought I would open for a man. But he was my man now. The one I loved. I opened up the bottle and gave him a glass. We drank to everlasting love. We then walked to the balcony of Istari Tower. The view over Baldur's Gate was nothing like the view of the man I had in front of him. We kissed again. But it was getting late and we gone our separate way.

That is my tale of what happened with my man, Ivaris, over the last few days. I thank you, journal, for listening to me. I will surely write for you later. In the mean time, I have to go see Ivaris.

Tenth-day of the third Tenday of Eleint, 1345
Dear Journal, I have said I would write to you more and I will. I might do it more in these recent times. Just for now I'll tell you about my yesterday.

As I was sitting at the campfire, it started to rain hard. The wind blew hard and the water came pouring from the sky. I was drenched. But what was even more bad was the wind. It was sparking the fire. It even burned the benches, and myself. The first thing I did was jump on the ground and roll myself to quench the flames. Hopefully Aethor was there to heal me. I cannot thank him enough for that. I would have been scarred for life if he didn't use his powers to help me. After some more bad weather, I decided I should get a hood for my cloak. I went to Aello's shop next to Istari Tower. My cloak was not the right form for a hood so he had to remove the gray layer and adjust it. As it pains me to not have to star design on my cloak, I love my new hood. Ivaris seem to like it too. He say it adds a little mystery.

So as I walked back the the campfire, I saw that there was no one so I headed back to town. That's when I met my lover. As we talked, a man, obviously with no experience under his belt, came to us. He asked us the direction for Beregost. We told him that it was to the south but before Ivaris had the time to say that the road was dangerous, he was gone. So we decided to help the man get to Beregost. On our way, we met Joonie, a gnome friend and Rhys. They wanted to go to Beregost too. So we set down the road to Beregost. Marik, as we soon found out his name, had a little brush with death as a goblin sapper exploded on him. Hopefully Joonie was there to get him back on feet. After that, we arrived at Beregost. We talked a little with Rhys while Joonie escorted Marik to Thunderhammer's shop. When they came back Joonie asked a question about the laws and the Flaming Fist that escalated to the point of freeing Thay from all the slaves. At that point I tired of this discussion so I asked Ivaris too leave with me.

We then walked to the cliffs near Candlekeep. There we sit and talked. I talked of my faith, should I follow Mystra or not. Soon after, we were talking of the markings on my face. As he touched then I shivered. I love his touch. It is so sweet. We then walked to Candlekeep seeking someone who could help. At the gate, the guard told us that Valerius Rokranon, Jonas' brother by pact, had just came in. But we missed him. So we decided to sit down. I asked Ivaris of his past. It seems no one had ask him that before. It was a tragic past but now I know why he is the man I love so much. As time went by, we walked back to Istari Tower. That is when I asked him if I could with him. Nothing physical yet, just to be with him as I slept.

This morning when I woke up, Ivaris was already gone. Seems like he didn't want to wake me up. That's why I love him so much. He is so sweet. Well journal, it's been fun writing to you, but I have to get back to my man.
