Heading Home, A Firesoul's Story
[BALDUR'S GATE TO CANDLEKEEP]
Sir Jonas Rokranon leaves the council chamber of the Radiant Heart at the temple of Torm in good spirits, and makes excellent time walking to the East Gate's stables in order to retrieve his horse. Hoss, the enormous white courser he was given as a gift during the siege of the Bhaalist temple, is currently at the stables outside the Black Dragon Gate, so his gray palfrey, Moonbow, will be bringing him to his destination this day. Smiling at Mercywhisper, the pony he bought for his dear sister, the aasimar proceeds to saddle his horse. Wasting little time, Jonas soon sets out for Candlekeep.
Upon reaching the monastery, Jonas dismounts and nods respectfully with a friendly smile to Laura Reynolds. The silver-haired man leads his courser inside and over to the Keep's stables so that she may rest. Jonas asks around for his brother, whom he is told is in the Guide's office in the central keep. After being escorted into the huge building, the paladin stands in Valerius' doorway grinning. The rather austere room is crammed full of meticulously organized bookshelves and, of course, the desk.
"Hello, my brother. I have a rather personal favor to ask of you. I recently took on Nari, the firesoul, to train, and she has very recently received word that her mother is very ill. I was hoping you would be willing and able to Teleport us up to Waterdeep so she can get up there quickly. She's asked me to accompany her up there, since I have more medical experience than she does."

Re: Heading Home, A Firesoul's Story
[ CANDLEKEEP: VALERIUS'S OFFICE ]
Valerius looks up when the door to his office opens, blinking his ruby-red eyes at the figure framed in the doorway.
"Jonas! What a pleasant surprise," he says, smiling at the rare visit. Unfortunately, it soon becomes apparent that this is not a social call. Valerius's smile slowly fades at his oath-brother's words, and he sets aside his quill. Once Jonas is finished, the tiefling speaks.
"That is troublesome news, and I am sorry to hear it." The wizard stands, making his way across the office while brushing imagined wrinkles out of his robes. "I would be happy to take you both to the City of Splendors; it has been many months since my last visit there, and it would be no trouble for me. Not when the cause is as important as this one."
Thus spoken, Valerius gathers his cloak off its hook near the door and clasps it around his neck. "Take me to Miss Nari, and we will go this instant."

Re: Heading Home, A Firesoul's Story
[ THE CLOUDPEAKS MOUNTAINS ]
The tall woman that people call -Randall- was lying in her blood, resting on the freezing cold snow, half naked, without a piece of gear on her. The bites of the winter wolfs had opened her flesh and the wine was flowing out. But she had survived until then. If it wasn't of the luck she was about to get, she would have died there, alone.
"Miss Ra.. Miss Randy?! "
The firehead kneels down near the woman and puts her hands on Randall's wounds. After a moment, the wounds are healed. Randall blinks a moment, then moans and coughs some blood as she rolls on the side.
"Miss Randy.. Are you all right ?"
"Nari.. Why are ye here, I was suposed to.. do this alone. I had to prove to myself that I wasn't.. weak."
" 'Tis not true.. You are not weak in any means."
"I fought him again, an' I lost to his damned magics and sword.. Siomir... I had to protect Kaltyra's secret.. I had to fight him."
"You did what you had to.. Wait.
The firesoul then reaches out her backpack and takes out a purple robe. She then puts it on Randall's head to warm her. The tall woman, too weak to fight the idea, just laughed a bit at the scene.
"I don't know what to do, lass. My path.. Erh.. I don't know where to go."
"You could join me and Jonas to Waterdeep for a start. My.. My mother has fallen gravely ill..I am affraid that she'll..
The woman in a dress puts her hand on Nari's shoulder and nods.
"If ye want me by yer side, lass, I'll be there. If.. the mighty Jonny doesn't object the idea. After what I did to.. That guy, Alan.."
"I will talk to him.."
After another discution, the two hit the tradeway and head to Baldur's gate to meet up with Jonas.

Re: Heading Home, A Firesoul's Story
After many days of traveling, errands, goodbyes, and gathering. The woman finally eases her way to the Temple of Torm in Baldur's Gate. Clad in her usual lavender plated protection with a pack stuffed full of saved up coin, extra clothes and rations.
She rests herself down on one of the benches just along the isle in the Temple, recalling the events that just passed before hand.
"Fire-Heart?!" A savvy, rugged pirate exclaims as he rushes toward the Genasi that just made her way to the Merchant Camp, a quiet Randall is at her side.
"Well would you look who's here." The red-headed Hin points out as he meanders to start conversation as Gareut and Nari meet.
The pirate hoists the woman into the air and twirls about her in a euphoric state, all the woman can do is cry and grip on the man tightly, thinking that it would've been so so so much longer before they saw each other again.
"You didn't let me say this before you left...I love you." The woman clings onto the man still.
"I'm sorry to say this but I'm going to be leaving again soon...our large, white beast grows impatient."
"Gareut...I'm going to be leaving as well..." She lowers her tone, making it distinctive that there is a serious connotation.
"What? Where are you going? What's the matter?" The pirate asks with deep concern.
All while in the background there is a completely different mood, a very easy, light-hearted atmosphere about Cirkus and Randall as they laugh and jest with each other.
"THAT'S A GREAT ONE, COMRADE!" The tough and tall woman shouts as she roars with laughter.
"I'm going to Waterdeep with Jonas and Miss Randy...my mother has fallen terribly sick and I need to go see her. I was going to ask if you wante--"
"You don't even have to ask, my love. I'll be by your side."
The woman just smiles loving to her pirate.
"Whoa whoa whoa there, you all aren't going anywhere without me to keep you out of trouble...or get you into it." The Hin interjects, feeling just a tad left out.
"I really appreciate all of your willingness to join me, everyone. I really do. You just need to let Jonas know that there will be more of us, I can only hope that the Teleport spell that he is looking into can send all of us, heh." The woman offers all of her companions a kind, caring smile as she nods to them in approval.
"If it's that Valerius as you said, it won't be a problem, girl."
After more bantering and catching up, the fellowship parts for the evening and Nari heads toward the Gate to finalize the plans and everything in between.
((Edited with Cirkus' new color and changed a statement to something he said, not Randall. D:))

Re: Heading Home, A Firesoul's Story
[MERCHANT CAMP, Day II]
The three; Rude woman, Hin with name which fits and rugged wilder. Watch how Fire genasi walks towards the Gate.
"Waterdeep, eh. I will show the Beaumelon to you comrades in there! I get special discount from there."
"Yeah, but your lass have to wait outside, Gareut!" Hin yells while smiling widelly.
Wilder just lower his hands on handles of his blades and mutters. "Aye Aye..."
"I will catch you two later. I have to go and talk with couple person inside the Gate." Woman turns towards bridge.
"Need help with talking?"
"We will be your backup, Randy!"
Rude woman switchs weight between her legs. "It is just talking, those persons own some money to me. No bloodbath, comrades"
Wilder nods. "Farewell and bitter ales, comrade."
When rude is out of hearing range hin yells: "Shake that booty! She is getting used to that body, right?"
Wilder cant hold his laugh while they walk over to the bench. "You know that I lost my eyebrow because you, hin? Remember that day when Tamara got new dress and you went to cheacking her goods as she changed her clothers. I just sitted right here as that damned wizard or whatnot fired that acid bolt. God, they need to learn how to aim..." Wilder spits.
Hin doenst move his gaze from woman next by him as he answers to wilder. "Cant blame me. And even if you blame me it was worth of it. It was a good day." Peaceful smile spreads to hins face.
"That death trap, Waterdeep, isnt good place for Luskanian lad." He rubs his scar at the place where left eyebrow should be. "That wizard was from there, Randall is from there." Wilder watch a moment how Hin gather kisses from womans. "Still, it is Fire-Hearts mom, we have to go... Aye? Even it would be her lost cat we would go. You know the code. Cirkus?!"
"Just send pigeon to me when you leave! That boy which runs messages around. He is the best!" Hin seems to be in heaven when young girl kiss his cheek.
Gareut takes deep breath and moves scimitar at his belt for better reach. "Anything for lovers, comrades, crew and lasses, Aye?"
"Yep!" Cirkus seems to be quite busy with two womans.
Wilder looks up to the sky with his bright yellow eyes and mutters. "It will be alright... If you see Fire-Heart or Randall say that I wait them right here, hin! "

Re: Heading Home, A Firesoul's Story
"You are too precious, I dont want to loose you Randall" - Whispered Cirkus to the Beast's ears. They then laughed hard. Realizing it sounded silly in so many ways.
- Thinking, while being kissed by a young women at the merchant camp. -
I almost lost you in the mountain, I spended too much time on you to loose you to a simple trip to the city of splendor. You have your destiny to fullfill and I will make sure you do.
- Walking down the road, heading south. The hin had second thoughts about that trip to Waterdeep.
Jonas leading the way, Randall following... I cant believe this. Things changed so much since we started messing around with the Baldurans. I must adapt. I must not be discovered. Maybe I should let them go without me. Spending so much time at the side of a paladin such as Jonas... I cant be discovered. Not so close to my ultimate goal.
The hin vanished near Nashkel.

[MEANWHILE, CANDLEKEEP TO BALDUR'S GATE]
"This is so good of you, Valerius, thank you," Jonas replies to his oath-brother. The paladin patiently waits while Valerius gathers anything else he may need, and the two head to the Keep's stables where Jonas finds his palfrey once more, and a second horse is made ready for the Guide of Candlekeep.
The smooth, ambling gait of the horses and the fine weather provides for a nice opportunity for the brothers to catch up on a few things, but before too long they cross the River Chionthar and enter the farmlands surrounding the East Gate.
"Hrmm, I need to make a quick detour over to the orphanage to let Meri know I'll be gone for some days. She isn't feeling well at the moment, but I do not want her worrying about me."
Walking to the familiar house he had purchased at request of Duke Silvershield in recent days, Jonas heads inside and greets Sister Juna and Brother Rente. He then climbs the stairs to Meri's room. Finding her asleep and being watched over lovingly by Tessian, the silver-haired aasimar explains to his brother-in-law the situation to relay to Meri when he can. Jonas then takes his leave and heads with Valerius through the East Gate into the city. Although Valerius looks a little uneasy at returning once again to the place from which he was banished for so long, the wizard doesn't complain and before long both men are standing before the temple of Torm, where they find Nari waiting on a bench.
With a kindly smile, Jonas says, "Good news, Nari. Valerius is more than willing to take us up to Waterdeep with all due haste. You will see your mother very soon!"

Re: Heading Home, A Firesoul's Story
The woman opens her eyes from hearing her name called out, luckily she catches most of what Jonas was saying. Nari eases herself off the bench and approaches the Rokranon brothers with her usual genuine, kind albeit groggy smile on her face.
"Sir Valerius...I can't thank you enough, I really can't...You have no idea how much this means to me for you to be able to help all of us."
The woman lowers her head in deep respect.
"I do have some more news though, it seems that there will be a few more joining us, Jonas. I finally saw Gareut again and he would like to join us. Also Miss Randy is having a rough time and I cannot leave her hear by herself, so I asked if she would like to come. She agreed, and finally where ever Miss Randy goes, Sir Cirkus is there to follow. So rather than the two of us, it will be..." The woman stops to count for a moment. "Five of us and maybe a wolf, heh. I really hope that that won't be a problem. My biggest concern will be if You..." She directs to Valerius. "...will be able to teleport a group as large as we are. Sir Cirkus said that you wouldn't have such a problem, but I don't want it to be such a burden for you."
The woman bobs her head just once as she finishes her dialogue.

The paladin blinks. Whether his surprise is from the expansion of the party, or simply that Nari called Cirkus a 'sir' is not readily apparent. Either way, Jonas purses his lips and looks to Valerius for his answer.

Re: Heading Home, A Firesoul's Story
[ CANDLEKEEP TO BALDUR'S GATE ]
Valerius was not one to use magic when a more mundane alternative to magic presented itself to him: He was, after all, all about efficiency and preparedness. Nevertheless, once he dismounted outside of Baldur's Gate's East Gate, he secretly wished he had just used a Fly spell.
"Hrmm, I need to make a quick detour over to the orphanage to let Meri know I'll be gone for some days. She isn't feeling well at the moment, but I do not want her worrying about me."
"Ah ... right. I have some errands to see to, as well. I'll catch up with you, Jonas."
The wizard waits for the paladin to go, then drops down onto a bale of hay and rubs the inside of his thighs, which are incredibly sore after the hours of riding.
"Ugh. There has to be a better way for non-wizards to travel." He complains, unused to the rigors of equestrianism. He narrows his eyes at his horse, as it waters. "I hate you, horse." He whispers softly.
The horse is entirely unconcerned.
Once Jonas meets up with Valerius, the tiefling is better composed and all too happy to follow the paladin to the temple of Torm. When Jonas makes mention of his slow walk, Valerius explains that he is merely unused to being in the city. In truth, he is still quite sore.
[ BALDUR'S GATE: THE TEMPLE OF TORM ]
On entering the temple, Valerius allows Jonas to do the introducing. He smiles to Nari when she addresses him, bowing his head to her slightly. "It is good to see you again, Miss Nari. I am sorry it could not be under better circumstances."
When the fire genasi explains that there will be more than the originally proposed amount of people, Valerius waves it off. "That's fine. It will require a bit more quintessential energy, on my part, but carrying five additional travelers is not beyond my ability." The words are said as facts, with no braggadocio. "Are they meeting us here, or are we all going to rendezvous elsewhere?"

Re: Heading Home, A Firesoul's Story
The woman smiles kindly to the Tiefling.
"If you need anything to help you along, just let me know, heh. I hope they will all meet us here, I should probably send a message out just in case though."
The fiery woman bobs her head a bit then shifts her gaze back to Jonas.
"'Tis not a problem for you either if they join us, right?"
The woman pauses for a moment because speaking back to Valerius. "I don't know know if I mentioned this, but I still really appreciate you being able to do this for us." She's probably said that about a dozen times now, whether or not it was mentioned beforehand.

[BALDUR'S GATE: THE TEMPLE OF TORM]
The paladin's lavender-eyed gaze rests on Nari for a long moment before he smiles and shakes his head.
"T'is not really a problem, no. I have not always gotten along with Randy, and really do not know Cirkus, but you asked me to go so my feelings on the matter are not important. I'm going as your friend, Nari. You really do have quite a, ah, diverse taste in your friendships, I must say."
The man then looks from the fire genasi to the tiefling, and his lips twist and turn for a moment before he grins and the intense gaze of the knight falls back on Nari.
"I suppose that I do as well though, and it isn't a bad thing, after all."

[BALDUR'S GATE: THE TEMPLE OF TORM]
Ragged wilder walks quitely to the hall, his cautious gaze scan the area. His hands are near by handles of steel blades which are covered with black sticky liquir. As he sees Nari his guards drop off and warm smile rises to his pale face. "Fire-Heart." Then he realize Jonas and Valerius. He simply tips his burned leather tricon hat before pulling it to cover his yellow eyes bit better. "Sir... Er, Guide?" He walks to side of Nari and gives encouraging smile as he wrap his right arm around her. "I didnt get Daghala inside the city walls. He was sorry about that but I am sure that he can spend some time without us. I tried even to bride those new troops but nay... How I miss Myhun." He smirks boyishly. " I am ready to leave when ever you are, my love. Have any of you seen Randall or Hin?"

Re: Heading Home, A Firesoul's Story
She can't help but chuckle at Jonas' comment about her friends. She looks the two brother over for a moment before emitting a soft, whimsical sigh.
"Love does work in mysterious ways, heh. Even for friendships."
The woman falls silent for a while then, her eyes drift to the doors of the Temple as a rugged, pirate-looking man strides in. Her face grows her loving smile for the man as he comes to half hug her.
She replies to his question of Randy and Cirkus.
"Miss Randy will join us, yes...but Sir Cirkus..." She frowns heavily, a look of deep concern and worry dawn on her.
"He...I looked everywhere for him after some events the other day...but he's nowhere to be found...I just hope everything is alright...I-I don't know if he'll be able to join us."
