A Tale of Elyl's Wanderings...

I was around my camp fire near some Shrine o' the tree huggers...just across the river when I could travel North nay more for the day.

Damn goblins came outta no where and stole my sword, I barely had time to grab my pack before I had ta run for my life...how embarrasing. If the Sergent, gods bless his corpse, had seen me...heda thumped my head red.

They tore inta my belongings and took most everything..I gathered what little I could and walked till sunrise.

Lucky all they got was food and my sword...my armor was tied to ma pack...gods I'm just glad none saw me. Some soldier I am...

As the sun rose, I decided ta back track unless tha goblins came ta finish me off and saw an Elven come up the hill.

I told I came from the North..when I am from the South. I don't know enuff ta trust any one around 'ere yet and I ain't stupid neither...he seemed kinda enough but had an odd edge to 'em.

Sometimes I say things to guage a person, whether I mean 'em 'er not. He laughed a little...to much..fer my taste.

He took me to Beregost, a small town..where I bought a new sword and we had at 'em for a bit. We only killed a Giants when I remember my head getting bingo bungoed by a club..the size of a small tree.

I awoke in an Inn somewhere...the Laughin' Elf saved my life I guess...

I got ta be mer careful and train more in the mean time..this Land seems dangerous...

But, I got me a new sword and taste fer action...I'll see where it leads me fer awhile in this place.

I tire of wanderin' fer now..and that last outfit I worked fer when bad fast in those god fer sakin' mountains..I still have dreams and lucky ta have my life.

Fer now, it is simple.

Rest. Maintain the Tools of my Trade. Train. and Repeat.

I see plenty of action around here and opportunity fer coin..good enough fer now...I got a second chance to...best I take it and get some me time and I got prayers ta make...fightin' left me drained and weary...
