Ice Dart

I didn't know where to put this topic, but Ice Dart is a server creation spell, so I think it is here.

Ice Dart don't follow the others spell rules against Spell Mantle and their variations, neither to Globe of Invulnerability. The physical damage it gives and the cold damage cannot be reduced by any resistance/immunity.

Any player that have level enough can see it for me, including the DMs.

As far as I know the any type of cold immunity is resisted by this spells cold component. Also, and DR will also reduce the damage from the spells piercing component. This works on a per arrow basis. So 5 DR can completely ignore the damage from the piercing of this spell while 5 Cold DR should do the same from the cold component.

The spell is set up such to be a conjuration spell, i.e. no SR component. Once the spell is done those are REAL freezing arrows being hurled at you. Really, if this were PnP you would be able to pick them up and fire them from a bow after. Spell Mantles only block spells with an Spell Resistance component.

Keep in mind that Spell Mantle is a spell created by Obsidian/WotSC to replace a variety of counter spells found in PnP such as Spell Turning. But like Spell Turning, those spells that have don't have an SR component check for resistance are unaffected by the spell mantle. If it were even more like PnP you could toss anything with a range touch attack in there as well.

Just tested it, all working just as intended.

I think the only thing it ignores is SR.
