Faerun lore states how these were immensely knowledge filled magic scrolls that practically taught the Netherese most of their most powerful magics.
I recently came across one of these items, and as a Wizard Minuvas has obviously been coveting the item with immense secrecy. What is the DM staff's view on such an item?

Re: Nether Scrolls
One of these sets of scrolls is currently in the shape of a tree, in the Cormanthyr forest (I believe it is in Myth Drannor somewhere).
I cannot recall where the other set is, currently.
You probably have a book about the Nether Scrolls called "The Nether Scrolls," if you have an actual item in-game. This is not an actual set of the scrolls.
Suffice it to say, the DMs will probably not include artifacts of world-shaking power like the Nether Scrolls except in very epic events. We also won't be giving them out to players for obvious reasons.
