The creation of Odelle.

Unread post by Maximvs »

A novice faern of the school of necromancy was praticing his animate undead spell on a daily basis. One day, however, he had the surprise of animating a persistant one that could actually talk. They conversed for days, the faern fascinated by his discovery. After a month of keeping the skull at home, they made a pact, and he started crafting him a body.

The novice necromancer had some trouble upholding his part of the pact, being not knowledgeable and skilled enough to craft golems and such, but still managed to. By sheer luck, he passed by Lolth's temple, overhearing the head priestess arguing with an imaskari wizard, loudly explaining him that she could not bring back the life to those that commits suicide. When the imaskari wizard left, he simply brought the fresh corpse with two cuts on her wrists from the priestess for a small donation.

The young, dead imaskari woman was now at home, and the skull's knowledge, combined together with the young necromancer s skill, successfully summoned an elemental spirit into the corpse, bound to obey the skull.

The skull, now lodged into a staff, and commanding his new body, was given ''freedom'' by his creator, his part of the bargain not fufilled yet. Nobody really knows much about the skull and his life prior to its death, as he managed to strike the deal without revealing much of himself.
MmmmMMMMmmm, tasty humanz, hmmmmMMM!!!
