The Book of Leira, Ignacious's Story Chapter 1

33 Years ago in Halruaa, one of the Keepers of Mystra's library gave birth.
Midwife, "M'lady, tis a boy, but I fear for his liniage." "What do you mean Ester?", Giana says. "I do not know, tis a sanguin moon, his eyes are pale, and his hair is stained by the blood of your birth.", Ester responds. "Well he is a new born, such features are common. Worry not Ester, he will be a mighty keeper of the Library when he is of age.", Lady Giana says. All the while during this birth the half-elven magehound Ciepher Daos looked on with suspicion. He suspects what the midwife already has assumed. He says to himself, "This is a tainted birth....." Looking up he says to Giana, "Who is the childs father?" She hesitates, "What do you mean, tis my husband Anton." His eyes narrow, "Very well Lady Giana, I shall record to King Zalthorm you birthed a son. He will make a grand librarian....", he comments with a smirk.

A week passes after his birth, strange things happen around the child. For the first time in years wolves were seen around Mount Talath. Also the veil between realms became thin. Imps were seen hoarding books in the Grand Library of Mystra. Also strange things began happening in Akhlaur's swamp. Dead began walking as if their master has returned. All of this within the last month. It is as if he truely has a dark future ahead. Four years have passed since the events...
