Returning the Skull to Candlekeep

Unread post by Moralityisflawed »

The first step of your journey, Ezekiel, is to locate the skull of Alaundo. Only by acquiring it will you be able to proceed in freeing the All-Seeing One.

Ezekiel remembers the words clear as day, if only spoken to him yesterday. Many years have passed since the cloaked man left him with his father's old quarterstaff, but time is irrelevant.

But how shall I obtain such...........rumor has it the artifact was stolen centuries, if not a milllennium ago. Not only I seek it, but it is quite revered among the Churches of Oghma & Deneir, and the Illithids have been searching for quite some time. Perhaps there are other inhabitants of Baldur's who also seek the return of this artifact........

((Seeking players who would be interested in becoming involved in an intricate quest line in regards to the freeing of Savras/recovery of the skull of Alaundo. With enough player support, perhaps a DM sponsored quest-chain will be in order =) ))

The skull was stolen after his death in 76DR, so it's been missing for over a millenium. Yeah, this would be a cool adventure. I would be into this...schedule permitting of course.

I would say that you could get most any member of Candlekeep to aid in the voyage, as long as the relic was infact to be returned to the Keep.

I would definitely bring the fact that you wish to go on the voyage to the Guide of Candlekeep, Vauk, IC.

You can sign me up for lending a hand. Guardsman Lucavern of Candlekeep at your service.

Nidas may have an interest in this. It all comes down to what time of the day things happens in.

((Definitely would make sure to ask a DM for all his/her potential times during a week, and maybe have 1-2 installments of the quest per week. Ezekiel's storyline primarily revolves around starting a new monastic order/freeing savras, and such a quest would be a great way to increase awareness of the presence of Savras. Ezekiel's interest in the skull revolves around gaining access to some of the visions of Alaundo in order to locate the imprisoned Savras (Ezekiel only knows that Savras is imprisoned, he has no knowledge of the scepter), I've sent a somewhat detailed PM to the DM group, and I'll try to see if I can't catch one or two of them free today to have a /tell chat =) ))

*Rumors begin to circulate about a man causing a disturbance around Candlekeep. It is said that he wears a white bandana, has a mohawk, and refuses to take it off*

((Ouch Vauk, sorry to hear that. Assuming a DM manages to catch wind of the PM I sent to the DM group, my /d channel tells, or this post, it'll hopefully get started up and I'd be more than happy to see if we can't arrange at least parts of the questline during your availability. I'll type up the general idea of what happens after each event to inform those who may have missed it (who knows, I might need someone to do it a few days if I'm working. Such a big mission wouldn't have to involve Zeke 24/7 =P))
