Can a drow sorc/wizz become a Arcane Scolar?

Hello.
Can a drow Sorcerrer from Sshamath become a Arcane Scolar of Candlekeep?
Of course it would be not of Candlekeep but from Ssamath in the rp way, but the engine only know the candlekeep thing.

While it seems odd, Arcane Scholar of Candlekeep doesn't necessarily mean someone has learned at Candlekeep itself. It represents a tradition of looking deeper into the nature of magic and metamagic, enhancing your manipulation of the Weave.

It just happens to be an oddity that we HAVE Candlekeep, and you COULD go to it. If Candlekeep weren't in the module you probably wouldn't think twice
