Frost Mage + Other caster PRC still makes caster lvl bugged?

I heard once that Frost Mage + another caster PRC didn't give you the correct caster level. Is this bug still in existence?

I don't think that was ever a bug.
Your still really an arcane caster (mage) if your a frost mage.

It caused some issue's with your caster level counting towards multi-classing.
But I think that has been fixed.

There was definitely a bug early-on with Frost Mage, but it was a bit obscure. I'm not sure if we fixed it - that's a question for Kaedrin.

Basically as above, if you were Wizard 10, Arcane Scholar 10, Frost Mage 10 it was acting as if you had a caster-level of 20 - the Frost Mage wasn't stacking with Arcane Scholar.

My gut feel is that we did fix it, but I couldn't tell you for sure.

It was fixed here but it was actually a bug in the OEI stuff and bugged all along, only the frost mage made it evident. A Wiz/Harper/ASoC would have had the same problem.

OEI had the ASoC spellcasting feat require Wiz 7 instead of letting the 2DA for spell level 4 control if the player could take the class. Since Frost Mage only requires level 1 arcane spells you could go Wiz 5/Frost 10 and then when you try to take ASoC it wouldn't give you the spellcasting progression feat.
