About Server, Leveling and Quests

Unread post by Sifaus »

Hi there. I'm fairly new to persistent world servers of nwn2, because of this, i have some questions about server.

1) I see static quest not enough for leveling, so we (me and my friend) need dm controlled quests (or events)?

2) How i can participate that dm events? Is there any player number requirement/limit? or level requirement/limit?

3) Is there any areas map, or is server favors exploring?

Note to #1: There can be quests, as i said i'm new to pw servers, also i'm really new to this server. I didn't actually searched for them.

More questions will come here when i wonder about things.
Thanks for answers. :)

Btw note: I buy game from steam, platinum version. Toolset didn't open. Gives an error, "System.NullReferenceException". I can try to contribute server, if i fix that. :/ Any thoughts?

1) You can RP and rp xp script will give xp. Or you can kill monsters for xp as well. Once your a bit higher level and have access to a lot of the quests (if your a surfacer), you can probably level up on them. People do it. It just takes time because some quests take a week or two to reset.

2) Probably you will just stumble into one. The DM's here tend to not announce set times for events due to how many players we have. The events end up with more players than a DM can manage.

3) If you mean like SoZ style overland maps? Then no. You have to explore.

On the toolkit issue, make sure your /override folder is empty.
