Bard feat's and the dissonant chord's class

im curently playing a bard, i notic on the Dissonant Chord class when you read about it, on the server *making a new char or taking a level you can read on the difrent class, that it have severel bard feats mention... and i read the feats what they do and require on the link to that forum/place you have linked somewhere Luna.
But ingame i dont get the options to take any of those feats even thou meet requirement for some... and some of em i woudent mind have, have the feats bin implemented or is the Dissonant Chord description just copy past and forgot to delete the options of feats under it???

Another thing i just wish to be complete sure about, im thinking of taking 5 lvl's in Dissonant Chord it say:

Bardic Music: A dissonant chord's class level stacks with any levels of bard she has for purposes of determining the number of times per day she may use bardic music and the effects of all bardic music

does that meen the epic bard lvl's effect's, bonus the songs give if you will
continues, like at lvl 26 inspire courage gets a +1 better, when you take 5 lvl's in dissonant chord???


The questions have something to do if i find it worth taking the prestige class or not, if the songs/inspire dont get epic bonus the last 5 lvl's, it might not be worth it thou some feats coud compensate for that.

For the first one, it was probably a screw up as in forgot to remove that feat stuff.

I wil have to check your 2nd question and get back to you.
I guess I just assumed it does count, but not I'm thinking it probably doesn't.

I'm not sure how it was done here but in my pack the answer to your second question is yes. Every one of the bard abilities was changed to be aware of all bardic prcs in my pack. My levelup code stacks the uses per day as well.

Ye, but I forgot to port in the changes to the bard songs.

Thats why I'm thinking it probably doesn't stack right now.

Looks like only countersong and inspire courage stack right now.


I'll get the other one's fixed next update so don't hold off rolling a dissonant chord.

You mean you don't even lose inspiration increases when taking this PRC ?
This is a bit powerfull.. Kinda like still gaining class feats when picking PRC's.

It's a powerful class, but comparing Bard 25 / Chord 5 to Bard 30 you lose two epic feats. That may be worth it to some and not to others.

There is one other issue I need to fix as well for the next update.

If the requiem feat requirement isn't changed then a Bard 15/DisChord 5 will not correctly qualify for Requiem

We will get this changed so you will qualify for Requiem.

Keep in mind that the DisChord doesn't grant you new songs. So a Bard 15/Diss5 is only going to have the songs known of a Bard 15. He will have 20 songs/day and the songs he does know will work as though he were a 20th bard. He just doesn't have Legionaires, etc.

That, coupled with the limitations of the anti-magic melody place this solidly at an 'epic prc' level. It also precludes the typical powergaming splashes that happen. It's meant to be a pure class 'reward' for a bard.
