I have a question about social skills and how to "oppose them" since NWN2 does not have "sense motive." For example, if someone tries to use bluff is there a standard server opposed roll. I've seen opposed by your own bluff skill, wisdom rolls, will rolls, spot and listen checks. Personally, I'd rather see an opposed roll based on a social skill to encourage their use (e.g., if you're good at bluffing someone, you can see it when they're trying on you) as opposed to a skill such as spot or listen that has significant game benefits already (and you're really not noticing something hidden anyway).
However, I'm happy to go with the server standard. I'd just like to stop having RPs stopped because of group discussions (or arguments) on what skill to use. Thanks!

Re: Social Skills and Opposed Rolls
There is not currently a server standard for social rolls, except this:
Social rolls may be used to enhance RP, but no player has the right to instruct or demand a fellow player make a roll.
That's a very important and oft-missed piece.
Spot and Listen are the usual replacements for Sense Motive, since both are wisdom-based. Spot is used in the Feint calculations, for instance. In general, skills should be rolled against skills and never saves or attributes.
