hello, working on my monk concept and i wanted to make him a parry type monk, since i never see parry used i thought it would be kinda cool. However, when looking into the mechanics there are some troubling issues with parry in the past such as;
"A bug occurs because of how the engine handles multiple attacks. It groups all of a character's attacks into three "flurries" made at the beginning, middle, and end of the round. If an attacker makes two attacks in the first "flurry", the parry check will not be made against the second attack." - source NWN2 wiki (http://nwn2.wikia.com/wiki/Parry)
has this been fixed?
besides that if you have some other interesting aspects of this often overlooked skill, please share.

Re: questions about parry
It's still bugged.
Opinions vary on weather it's still useful or not.
I think it is at least until you get to very high level, but a lot of people think it's not.
At some point though you don't parry all attacks.

Re: questions about parry
Attacks in NWN1/NWN2 are broken into 'flurries'. There are three per combat 'round'. Attacks are evenly divided between the three, with the remainder going on the earlier attacks. A fighter with 6 attacks would thus do 2/2/2 for flurries; with Haste, they'd do 3/2/2.
Parry only attempts to parry one attack per flurry, so it can only stop 1/1/1 for a total of 3.
