Re: Rumours of Baldur's Gate
Word spreads around the Baldur's Gate that a man can be found in the Elfsong Tavern that will loan gold to those that need it. His loans come with a fee, but for those that can not wait for gratification the fee is worth it. The rumors say to look for a man with a gold cloak.

Deep within Cloakwood, bloodied humanoid corpses were found lain in ritual poses. Small altars made of their skulls are found a short distance away.

Excited whispers and talking spread through the town as people discuss the performances they will watch and create at the White Mask Theatre's open stage night this weekend. People are seen doing amateur juggling in the streets in preparation, instuments are being tuned and the occasional apple on a scarecrows head finds an arrow through it.
"Come along" they all say, "find your courage, pick an act"
"When is it?"
"Tomorrow just before sunset, come along, it'll be great"
// 6pm EDT every Saturday

Rumors spread of a young elf girl being found on the side of the Tradeway with her right pinky cut off and the words "Bhaal Comes" carved into her stomach.
Life is an amazing journey full of lessons to learn. One such lesson is that anything worth having must be earned, otherwise it is taken for granted and tossed aside on a whim.

Re: Rumours of Baldur's Gate
According to dozens of witnesses, the Provisional Director of the Performer's Guild and the White Mask Theater, Alison whats-her-name-this-week finally announced her permanent replacement.
Mia Desdemona was announced as the new Director of the Performer's Guild just before the last performance at Open Stage Night. Mia seemed very stunned and flattered by the surprise appointment.
Alison seemed quite relieved to turn over responsibility of the Theater to someone else, and some say she would have handed the keys to anyone who was up on the stage that night.

Word spreads of Rhys and his Academy, taking class on the trade way. A large range of topics where talked about including Karsus's Folly, the phaerimm, the Anauroch desert, Gods of magic, firewine bridge, and even what little is known of Sammaster the Mad.

Kids are seen running around outside the orphanage with wooden swords and black paper eye patches. Passers-by stop to watch in amusement at their play. When asked what they are doing they say:
"We're rehearsing!"
"Yeah! for the show!"
"The one at the Theatre"
"It's a pirate theme! We're pirates!" They point excitedly to themselves.
"So we're going to perform a pirate fight over some treasarrrrg"
The children break down laughing at their attempt at pirate speak, their pile of treasure-leaves and their wooden swords before leaping to position and yelling "ON GUARD!"

Re: Rumours of Baldur's Gate
Some time early in the morning a carriage arrives and stops before the Rokranon manor in the palace district. The first person to step off the carriage is a familiar looking silver-eyed Aasimar. His hair is short and he is adorned with ornate looking armor with an intricately designed blue and gold "S" on his left pauldron. The symbol of Torm is emblazoned on his breastplate and a cold iron claymore strapped to his back by a back hanger baldric.
The next person to step off the caravan is a short woman with long flowing brown hair. Her features are reminiscent of an elvish beauty as does the infant she carries in her arms who, if by chance one gets close enough has the bluest of eyes. The half-elven woman, oddly enough, wears the robes of a lay sister of Torm.
Immediately following her is an man in his sixties. His face is chiseled from long years of hard work and his beard has a salt and pepper coloring to it. Like the half-elven lay sister, he carries an infant in his arms. The infant also has elven features and the lay sister's cheek bones.
Once settled on the ground, the older gentleman and lay sister walk into the house while the armored man brings a few boxes into the manor. Before he brings the last of the boxes in to the manor, he tips the carriage driver and gives a smile to a group of confused onlookers.

Once word of Rokranon manor's new residents reaches Charraj, the wizard stirs and rises from his seat inside the Istari Tower laboratory. He goes for a walk.

Re: Rumours of Baldur's Gate
In the late evening a mysterious hooded woman is witnessed around Baldur’s Gate carting wooden planks, carpenter’s nails and a used defender’s shield while mumbling obscenities under her breath. It is unknown as to where she happened to disappear to.

Rangers and Druids have been seen more heavily as of late roaming the forests of the Sword Coast. Scouting in the Cloakwood and Woods of Sharpteeth as well as visiting with the Elves of Doron Amar. The members of the Enclave of the Green Triad are also actively recruiting for membership into the Enclave. Those with a sense for nature, who worship Silvanus, Mielikki or Eldath, seek out Elohir Ara'dhel, Faerynn Ara'dhel, Calen Lasgallen, Isenduil Eriadon or Phelan Shadowtop for more information.

Re: Rumours of Baldur's Gate
Over the last few days, rumors began to spread of red dragons in the countryside around Amn. Commoners speak of secret dragons walking in human form, causing them to cheat on their wives and steal their neighbor's livestock. The Flaming Fist has yet to apprehend such a beast, if they even exist.
Furthering the rumors, local merchants in Baldur's Gate have started loudly decrying that this foul menace will take well-armed champions. Supplies of fire resistance items and potions are beginning to sell out, even as local merchants increase their prices. The merchants have stated that shortages are expected.
A group of street peddlers were quickly arrested for selling "dragon slaying elixirs" made from common ingredients.
A common farmer was heard saying at the Elfsong Tavern, "The nobility hasn't made a squeek about this and the Fist can't catch 'em. We're all going to be dragon food!"

Re: Rumours of Baldur's Gate
A silhouette of Mia can be seen through the windows of the White Mask Theatre's back rooms. She can be seen moving around sending costumes and hats flying as she tries on and discards many, often with a frustrated question: "why are there no bells?!". After some time and much mumbling she finally cries "I've got it!". She quickly changes back into her usual attire and hurries from the theatre towards the East Gate District. From shop to shop she searches for hours through the stocks for clothes and props, eventually carrying a bundle back to the Theatre. "Now all I need is a staff and the show can go on."
