Elemental Shot - Multiplied on Critical Hits?

Being that the elemental shot feat is an ability and not an enhancement on a particular weapon, would it be doubled or tripled upon a critical hit?

I've heard some people saying yes, and some saying no. Maybe Kaedrin would know for certain.
