I Demos of Baldur's Gate humbly offer my services as cook for any and all who answer this call. Of course, a temporary stay of my year-long ban from the city would be required during the the time I am performing such duties. I would consider this service as attonement for my grevious error in judgement that resulted on my termporary band. I look forward to your reply.
Your Humble Servant,
Demos

When Madison later hands Jonas the letter and he reads it, a frown appears on his face. The silver-haired aasimar reads it again for good measure, the word 'Duke' forming silently on his lips with a deeper frown.
"A banished man who I have already had escorted out of the city once wants to be our cook. Does that not strike you as a bit. . .questionable? If I accepted this, it would practically scream 'poison me'."
"Sir Jonas, its wonderful news indeed that you and your men will have a place to call your own. You have done much for me and many of the coast over the years. If you need anything from me, my academy, or Doron Amar itself you have it. "

When the note is taken down from the temple of Tyr and taken to the temple of Torm to show Jonas, the paladin reads it and heaves a heavy sigh. He gives it back to the person who brought it to him.
"If the public has forgotten everything I have done for these lands, so be it. They are entitled to their opinions. I suppose they have never heard of the High Halls of Justice in Athkatla, and the stronghold I wish to build for the Radiant Heart here is nowhere near as grand as that. Hang it back up, I have a few low justice trials to get to."

*smiles faintly* "Worry not, humble it may be, position of Order cook should be filled by someone of utmost trust within the Order. Nobody will be touching our food except by the most trustworthy"

She smiles as Jonas forwards the information to her.
"I am planning on sending word to request their aid, and am happy at Headmaster Rhys' initiative. I am sure our letter will be welcomed, then."
