Background
After being cought stealing on the local market of his hometown, Tirion was brought to the clerics of Tyr who would judge him. Because of his young age and the fact that he was an orphan (his father, who had swayed of the path of good, immediately had ran off when he heard Tirion's mother was pregnant. His mother died when he was born.), they decided to take him under their wing. He grew up within the churches safety and regularity. He also grew in the vast hierarchy of Tyr's church. From server to acolyte to from chaplain, but his way up wasn't without obstacles. His quick and hot tempered nature, his big mouth and his streetwise outlook to the world didn't gain him the trust and respect he believed he deserved. Actually the church wanted to get rid of him, but expected that he, once released from the safety of the church, would return to a life of crime. So they made him guard the church, like a true templar.

He proved quite good in this profession and continued ascending the ranks, and ended up Head of Security of the church. This, his superiors didn't like, because he was still rude and, more important, he was a bum, picked up from the streets, and the ones whose positions he threatened were from the upperclass, sons of noblemen and landowners. So, they unofficially, cast him out of the church, and made him an almoner of the peasants and sailers, and he traveled troughout the countrysides, preaching the word of Tyr. After years of traveling he got word from the church, he was transfered to the army, to serve with the almoners that took care for the kings army.

Nowadays, he has returned to the church, where he got the rank of military bishop, leader of the almoners in the army. Why? He had lost his temper, and his outlook had changed, and, most importantly, he now knew, after years of experience in the army, how to play the political games that were going on in the church of Tyr. But he is more streetwise than ever, and has shaken down his naivety. He now is traveling to a new area of Faerun, of which he has heard rumors. He has a mission layed upon himself to travel there and convert as many people as possible to the ways of Tyr. This, because he can't stand the pecking order back home anymore.

Demeneor
He always wants his enemies to underestimate him, so most of the time he acts like a venerable old priest on pilgrimage. Back hunched under the weight of his large shield, big white mustache, long white hair, wise eyes, wrinkled hands clutching a walking stick. Most of the time accompanied by two loyal acolytes who take good care of the old man. But when the action is near, he gets exited. When in a bar-brawl, or a, what he likes to call, "non-official" fight, he just takes off his surcoat, and holy symbol and jumps into the fight. On the battlefield however, he uses his warpriest abilities to inspire his friends and his trusty sword and shield to kick the crap out of his enemies.

This may seem a little opposed to the rules and dogmas of Tyr, but he didn't choose his faith, it was layed on him by the church. Besides, he has seen too much real sorrow and injustice, so he can't sincerely believe the utopian dogmas Tyr dictates. But he still considers Tyr to be a just guardian and tutor, only with a little unrealistic rules and principles.
