How do we pick DMs? What do we look for in a DM?

Well! Firstly, you should know that the team votes as a whole. No one person decides who gets on the team.

Also, aside from the things mentioned in the DM application form, we look for a few other qualities. Can you divorce yourself from your player-side interests while acting as a DM? Will you refrain from favoring yourself or your friends? Integrity is something the team strongly considers.

Of course, strong RP is also a must. We want DMs who can tell a story and run events, while staying true to server and canon lore.

While we are always eager to accept applications, we are very cautious about accepting DMs. Please do not feel bad if you are not brought onto the team after applying to be a DM. Sometimes we're not recruiting, sometimes we're looking for a very specific kind of DM (based on time zone coverage and lack thereof, and so on), and sometimes we just want some time to get to know you a little better.
