The Other One
((I plan on running a major event on Sunday. Barring only if something important comes up. Any druids are welcome to join in as I have requested. Probably around 9pm.EST hopefully earlier around 7-8EST, but the event will nto be in full swing until around9pm))
The charges against Vaille Re'vas are as follow the Brother known as the Other One has decreed to the creatures both bipedal and not;
1) That She hunted the Horned Champion of Malar and led a band to slaughter his pack. The Champion and the pack were well within their own territory. The Champion of Malar had attacked one bystander along the Tradeway. Vaille and her band were excessive in their exaction of retribution.
2) Lying to the annointed of Silvanus. She defended her reasoning for her attack as retribution for the burning of farmhouses along the Coast. As is FACT the servants of Bane burned the farmhouses unaided by the Champion of or any of his servants.
3) That she and another band attacked and killed members of another pack of Malar's servants deep in the Cloakwood.
ALSO one further act of twisted vile behavior that this Vaille has perpetrated that will not be brought into the light UNTIL the trial.
ALSO The twin sword the fiery blade was broken and NO attempt was made to return it. A Renec "friend" of the accused admitted to destroying this property that did not belong to him.
Let all who wish to be present be forewarned. The annointed servant of Silvanus's brother was slain in cold blood. Silvanus's servants do not lie and to accuses one of falsehood will not be tolerated in the Realms. Justice will be had. Even if the trees themselves are broken and the grass shudders where the torrent of Silvanus's children crush them and their foes to lifelessness.
By decree a Druid possibly an Archdruid of Silvanus will be present to mediate. Let this Vaille Re'Vas answer her charges. Let any servants of Silvanus dare to speak on her behalf. Let them know the Archdruid has heard the charges and that his peace efforts to placate the servants of Malar are under great stress thanks to this OUTRAGE. Malar's Druids have suspended all peacetalks with Silvanus's druids outside of Baldur's Gate. A Druid of Malar will be present to represent the Horned Champion. Let no false tongue be left unpulled!
((let me know who will be available for the event. I would like to have some idea who will be there in case the main players have complications and we need to reschedule.))

*Rhys hears the charges, and grows angry*
"Like any druid can be trusted after Faerynn was revealed to be the Shadow Master. How dare they try and charge my own student with such claims. The only crime here is a brother who failed to protect his own from the dark forces of Malar. Let i be known i will defend my student."

The trial will begin at Nashkel. It has been agreed upon by all sides.
((That is probably where people should meet. Then it will move to a Druid grove nearby.))

((As long as the character has some background on the events. Or just wants to follow the crowd and observe the proceedings. It is nature related and rangers are welcome. If you RP your ranger a servant of a nature deity then I encourage you.))Lockonnow wrote:Well i have a ranger is that ok?

Re: The Other One
*It seems the grey orcs 'champion on Silvanus' was something different *he shrugs* predictable, but what can one expect from a man that claims to hear the voice of a god?
*He glares* I highly doubt this ' arch druid' has the blessings of either the grand druid of the region , the great druid of faith or The Forest Father himself.
*he shakes his head* Peace talks with servants of Malar one of the gods of fury, heresy.
I'm ordered to observe this region yet I find it hard to tolerate this and remain silent.
As for the claims and the accused, I do not know her neither does it all seem clear perhaps some will become more clear.
(( 50/50 If I can make it on Kyran , 9 PM is around 2:00 for most EU players unless I am mistaken.
Sounds like an interesting event though so well will try to be there armed with coffee))

*Upon hearing the news, Calen ponders what he has heard.*
"Peace talks between servants of the Treefather and Malar? This is news indeed. I wonder if the Enclave is aware of this situation. And the archdruid? The former archdruid of the Enclave is in a Flaming Fist prison."
OOC: I will try to be around for this, as an observer of sorts. But the timing of the event is too early and I will definitely be late, if I can even log in at this time due to server census.

Re: The Other One
By the task given to him by the Champion of Silvanus himself, Cor Waroak--favored son of Silvsnus-- did locate a Druid of Silvanus to bring to the desired meeting point. The Druid, always skeptical....and further skeptical of Cor's tale of the Other One himself....agreed to here out this Champion.
Cor still wonders while the Champion of Silvanus that approached him and set him on a quest did not wield a warmace, instead a flaming sword.
///Cor will be at the judgement, but the Druid (Kyran, as stated above) might not make it because of time scedule

((looks like its definite for tonight. ))
*The Archdruid of Silvanus listens to the reports. He thinks how could anyone doubt the harmony of nature. So fractured so delicate. It is high time for change. The ultimate goal of harmony between nature and the beings that it nurtures is not to be taken lightly. Not now not ever.*

*Epilogue*
*The Archdruid passes on the information. He thinks " Accusations against the accused were conrived and unnecessary". We will have to be careful in dealing with Malar's servants. The more things change. The more they stay the same.*
*The servants of Revan Dahl report to him. His dark cold eyes grow angry. He speaks to the darkness. "We must bring more power to bear on these people. We will turn their cities into graveyards for our kind"*
*The Darkness answers* "Yes".

Rhys speaks of taking the Arch Druid before the dukes for treason against Baldur's Gate and the surrounding community's for dealing with Malarites.

The Dukes will hear none of it! Vaille Re'Vas agreed to the terms. Do not waste our time with conspiring war against the Oakfather's servants Elf!

Re: The Other One
He qoutes his own laws
Then writes a letter to the Dukes anyway, stating the Archdruid's aiding of Malarites. He signs it Councilor of Doron Amar. He then writes to the Enclave of the Green triad for there opinion and statement on the matter.7) Aiding our Foes will be considered a form of attack on Doron Amar, and will be acted on accordingly.

The Archdruid and the Malarites, meanwhile, would be mobbed by nearly every person at the trial after the events concluded, unless of course some random deus ex machina managed to whisk them away before anyone at the trial could interact with them and give them the sound thrashing they deserved.

Re: The Other One
// The storyline has ended where the Malarites and Champion of Silvanus are concerned. I hope you enjoyed the evnt I put a lot of thought into it. And thank Vaille/Newoa. He is always interested in paticipating in my events. Perhaps an ambitious Duke will risk war against the Archdruid. But as stated he had the blessing of other Druids of Silvanus outside of BG. His judgements were correct the deceptions of the Malarites were revealed by performing the trial. There was a banner of truce between all. Vaille agrreed to it. Anyone who followed her agreed to it. That was spoken. ANY good character would have honored it until the Trial/Court was over. . Breaking an agreement is BOTH chaotic and OOC for most of the atendees. His judgements were fair and justice WAS served it would have been an EVIL act to detain him or attack him within a grove of Silvanus. Vaille DID all of the actions. But was not guilty of the charge of murder (the Champion of Mlar was a threat(based on the other Malarites actions), blaming the Champion of attacking the farmers (she was mistaken)and it was self defense in the Cloakwood. Rhys took the blame for Revan Dahl's release.
