DM TPK events

I need to get better about logging events... so I will start with this one:

The Nashkel horns were blaring as the spearman perched on the wall eyed a formation of Frost Giants grouping in the hills to the south. Adventurers gathered and charged into the massing behemoths, dispatching the first wave rather easily. More adventurers joined the ranks as another wave countered. A Jarl was felled in the attacked, stopping it and the Amnish spearman sounded the all clear with his horn...

Then a dark towering figure appeared high in the mountains, before it, small darting figures wove their ways down the path. Trolls... these well trained rubbery skinned giants are not like their northern kin. With arcane and divine skills, and a leader of great power, many adventurers were laid to ruin in the hills. Kald Blake, Thedran and Scarlett were among those still standing when only a few of the hardiest trolls were left. It was through their perseverance and heroics that the others were saved and the day won. Hunter Harrow showed his appreciation to Kald for leading the final attacks, gifting him a fine blade.

Minna Willows participated but died at the troll wave, and then while waiting to be revived, I had to log due to incoming Thunder Storm Ah well.
