A sermon for the people

[Gottmoerder]

A tallish stocky man arrives to Baldur's Gate carrying with him a humongous towershield emblemed with tri-lightning symbol. On his back he has a long spear, holstered. He raises on a pedestal and starts to speak with a loud booming voice:

I've just arrived from Athkathla.. And ALREADY I am astounded by the lack of fear in you peasants! Have you no respect for His Fury? His Might? Your false idols will be destroyed to ashes in the wrath of his arriving Storm! Your children and elderly will be washed away by his lightning, for there's no place on this land for the weak! Only the STRONG! THE STRONG survive in his furious grace!

Peasants! Nobles! Old! Young!

The strong of you! Follow my lead and withstand the Fury on His glorious side! For death is inevitable.. And is to come solely based on His will! Abandon your weak! Abandon your ill to the coming Storm and they shall we washed away! And follow the path, my path, to strenght and fury!

[DM Vindicator]

A small squad of the City Watch as well as some Flaming Fist pikemen detach themselves from the throngs of people traveling the streets and begin to make their way toward the raving lunatic preaching about The Storm Lord.

The tallish stocky man, Gordock Tenthunder, is in a trance-like state and fails to see the gathering officers coming for him. He keeps on going;

Earthquakes will shake your houses and crumble the weak off their feet! The strong shall rebel and inherit these lands! Storms will be unleashed to bring down glorious Fury in His name and shower our enemies with oh-so beautiful and powerful lightning! And we.. We shall set the weakling churches on fire and warm up our fury as they turn into ashes!
