Bio :: As a young boy, Naseem and his adopted father often traveled 'The Road to the Dawn', all the way to Zindalankh on trade business. He was very curious about the desert called The Plains of Purple Dust, and at the age of 17, after arriving in Zindalankh, Naseem decided to stay. He often went exploring in the desert, and even made his way to both the Grinning Skull Oasis and the Lonely Lake. During his many years of exploration, and the slight wind funnel he naturally(uncontrollably) seems to generate around himself, permanently captured some of the Purple Sand, and he slowly took on a purple hue.

Eventually, he heard of a city where many Genasi resided, and he traveled to Sultim and acquired passage on a ship. Various stops at Bexantur, Murbant, Teskaunt and Laothkund dotted the voyage, and Naseem continued to earn passage by helping with chores on deck and performing feats of dexterity with his two scimitars. After Laothkund, the ship crossed the Alamber Sea and headed south to Airspur. Naseem had finally found himself a place where he felt comfortable and surrounded by many of his kind. He was often mistaken as a Stormsoul Genasi, on account of his purple hue.

He joined the Airsteppers Guild and became a messenger and further developed his acrobatic and performance skills. With time, he learned to speak all Genasi languages. He often read books of distant locations, never quite knowing what it was he was looking for, but one day, he read about the Anauroch Desert. It was then that Naseem once again decided to travel, and took to the seas, eventually arriving in Alaghôn. Not two hours after landing, he set off, making a brief stop in Ormath, then hardly stopping until he reached Crimmor, where he hired on as a Caravan Guard and made his way up the Trade Way to Baldur's Gate.

It is his one desire to cross the Anauroch Desert, and then return home to Airspur to live out the rest of his life among others of his kind.
