Okay, I don't have time to write up the proper story right now, so I will just write it like this and update it next week. (I have a test on Monday that I really need to study for)
DM Mr. Pig did a great job running the event that ended in Faerynn's death. Kald Blake did a great job killing me. The other 25 guys who participated did a great job trying to destroy me.
Basically it starts off being dark. Mauglir is in the Sharpteeth woods and decides he wants to summon an undead army to wreak some havoc. The heroes of the day destroy the undead army which leads them deeper into the Sharpteeth woods and there they find Mauglir involved in some ritual with a circle of magic, which seems to be the source or power of the undead. Immediately the huge group of adventurers start blasting Mauglir with their magic... and it was a lot. I think on the order of 12-15 spells were hitting me per round. I resisted quite well. Mauglir was about to take off to save his own skin, but just before he did he saw Kald Blake in the middle of the group fighting the undead. Mauglir, having been beaten by him before, decides to try a different spell on him than his typical Vampiric Feast. So he runs up to him and casts the formidable spell Damnation. And dammit, it didn't work!
Kald made his save as he always does and Mauglir took off. Kald pulls out a wand or scroll and casts a Bigby's spell on Mauglir and that slows me down quite a bit. In the end I was not able to escape the mob and fell to my death just outside of the transition point that was my escape route.********* The screenshots ************
