"Selene... Vmaanelvla." the little girl mutters up to her mother. Her mother returns a faint smile, almost in shock at the little girl's words. She kisses her gently on the cheek, before allowing her to lay peacefully in reverie,
"Lanaya, you're ours. We love you, we'll never leave you - Xanatos and I will be with you forever." Her mother utters before allowing her to drift in to reverie. Lanaya drifts in to reverie for the next six hours, before her mother forces her awake.
"Lanaya, let's go. You're not so young anymore, your father wants your help."
Upon awakening, Lanaya glances around at the room which she's in. The floors are cold on her bare feet. There's light filtering through the open window, and as such, she shields her eyes with her hand. She takes a deep breath, stumbling back up to her feet. At once, she falls down again. The floors feel even colder now. Lanaya lets out an almost irritant scream, before crawling over to the window in her room. The mountains atop the horizon shock her, her eyes widen at the lush greens of her forest. She glances backwards, noting that the door to her room is still closed, she crawls up to glance outside the window. Still shielding her eyes from the light, she notices something special outside. She makes her way over to her dresser, straps on her cloak, fits and tightens her boots, slides in to her tunic, and finally tightens her hood. She makes her way back over to the window slowly, still crawling. She shields her eyes once more, before lightly easing the window open.
A cool breeze hits her face; her hands begin to curl up. Nevertheless, she glances downwards. The ground isn't too far from where she's standing, and it'd be easy to jump down. At once, her mother opens the door to notice Lanaya on the other side of the window. She runs to the window, but Lanaya waves as she takes a deep breath, bending her knees and jumping on to the ground outside. She begins to run as fast as she can,
"She can't catch me. I won't let her." As she runs, she trips in front of a group of elven youths,
"Hah, stupid girl. Never learnt to run yet?" they kneel beside her, grins on each of their faces. Lanaya glances at each of their faces, holding her breath. Her thoughts begin to flicker,
"They can't do anything to me. If they do, my father will burn their hut... won't he?" She then, at once, shouts up at them,
"Leave me alone! I haven't done anything. Go away, ugh. Go!"

Re: Lanaya Gwentheloden - The Wronged One.
The day had just begun, and dawn was upon the forest. The sun was preparing to shine brightly; however this didn't mean it was warm. Cold gusts of wind blew through the trees, the peak of the mountains had now dissapeared beyond the clouds.
"Let go of me, I don't want to be here!" Lanaya screamed as they knelt beside her. She began fidgeting, trying to shake off their grasp on her.
"Now, tell us: why would we do that, little girl? We're thirty and you're a whole sixteen. We're bigger than you. We're stronger than you. We're better than you." one of the youths taunted her with various words. Then, as the boy looked up... a scream was heard. He glances back at Lanaya, but her mouth is closed, her eyes red and her body too weak to move.
"It can't be her..." he remarks as he glances around once more. The others simply scatter, leaving the boy and Lanaya alone. Lanaya lay there, simply without motion.
"Selene? Vmaanelvla Selene." Xanatos shouts as he returns to the hut, unclipping his cloak, unfastening it then placing it on the dresser.
"Selene? Where are you?" he continues shouting as he searches the hut.
Opening the door to Lanaya's room, he notes Selene's cloak lay on the ground. He picks it up, sighing heavily. He moves over to Selene's room, glancing inside. There she lay...

Re: Lanaya Gwentheloden - The Wronged One.
"No... no it cannot be." Xanatos remarked as he stared at his wife's corpse.
"This is not how it's supposed to be. It can't be, I'm in reverie. I'm not awake. I'm not sane... I'm imagining this." he shouts yet again, grasping hold of his face tightly. He rubs it, his eyes now turning a dark shade of red. The tears begin to slowly drip down the sides of his face.
"Just... leave me..." Lanaya says weakly as her eyes flutter over to the boy.
"...They'll think I'm weak. They'll think I'm inferior. Do you want that? Do you want me to be weak?!" the youth screams in Lanaya's face, his expression truly one of anger.
"I don't... want you to... be weak... th-the scream... it was familiar. Raiman... leave... me.. p-p-please..." she mutters quietly, almost incoherently up to Raiman. He stares at her momentarily, rubbing his nose before stumbling back up to his feet. Relentlessly gazing at Lanaya, he turns around. Glancing a final time over his shoulder, he turns into a run. Lanaya gathers what strength she can, pressing her hands into the ground, and pulls herself up. Breathing heavily, she crawls back to her hut.
Xanatos lay on the ground beside his wife's corpse, tears still rapidly falling from his eyes. The door swings open, and a small elven girl crawls in, her face heavily bruised.
"...Xanatos? Where... is... Selene? I... I heard her... her voice." the elven girl says in an almost inaudible tone. Xanatos simply lay there, traces of motion across his body are scarce. His lip quivers, and his eyes continue to shine a dark shade of red. The door slams closed, blowing in a cold gust of wind. Lanaya's body begins to shiver - however her vision is locked on her mother's corpse.

Re: Lanaya Gwentheloden - The Wronged One.
"How could... you? You... you destroyed her... you took her away..." Lanaya says as she crawls closer to her mother's corpse. Her hands tremble as she reaches over to press her finger against the corpse's forehead. Lanaya lifts her head slightly, the light filtering through the window of her parents' room begins to fade.
"You... you did this..." Lanaya screams out at the top of her voice.
"I... I did...?" Xanatos says almost incoherently, "I did... I wasn't... here to protect her..." Xanatos says at last before collapsing. Lanaya simply stares at her mother's corpse for a moment longer. Her world begins to sink, her feet curl up and her hands tremble rapidly. She tilts her head slightly, she then stares up at the window. The light has faded entirely now, and clouds begin to form over the forest. Lanaya presses her hands against the cold ground, pulling herself up to stand. She finally stands without falling. She glances around once more, fastening the cloak on her back. She glances down at her father for a final time.
"You weakling..."

Re: Lanaya Gwentheloden - The Wronged One.
Lanaya exhales deeply. She glances up at the door leading outside. She stares at it, its intricate design almost too confusing for her right now.
"He's done it... she's gone..." She mutters slowly to herself, pushing the door open very slowly. A cold breeze passes Lanaya's face. She shivers slightly for a moment, before then glancing around, almost in curiosity. Her hands begin to shape themselves into fists. She glances down at her loosely-strapped boots,
"I'm going... to get.. it..." She growls as she spins on her boot, punching the door behind her with all the force she can muster. It doesn't even budge. Over the horizon, the peak of the mountains is still visible. Lanaya glances into the distance, her eyes narrowing at the peak. Slowly, clouds begin to cover its beauty. Lanaya simply fixates her vision in it.
"I don't know... what? What am I to do? I don't want this... I'm still." She speaks slowly to herself before screaming. She falls against the side of her hut, her vision still locked on the area where the peak once was, now covered by clouds. Slowly, her eyes begin to tear up. They turn a slight shade of red. A few drops slide down her cheeks. She quickly glances down, before bursting into tears. They begin to stream down as her face also follows suit, becoming very red. She wraps the cloak around herself...
