Background: Laisren's family came from Myrloch Vale in the Moonshaes, but he was born somewhere in Tethyr. He would spend the entirety of his childhood moving from one city to the next. His father was a moon elf bard whose talent was matched only by his penchant for whiskey, a proper drunk. His mother, a kindly half-elf who was proud of her elven heritage, would die giving birth to his sister. His father, taking his new born daughter, would abandon Laisren near the city of Neverwinter.

Laisren, still an adolescent by elven standards, was forced to fend for himself. Joining a band of elves in the Neverwinter Wood, he would learn many of his early survival skills living as an outlaw. They robbed caravans and travelers near the wood, until one day they would attempt to rob the wrong individual. This Elf, of considerable power, would execute all of Laisren's company. Noticing the weave's aura about Laisren, and his feral spirit, the elf decides to offer him an opportunity.

This is how Laisren has come to reside here in Baldur's Gate, as a disciple of another who has taken him on. He has furthered his martial skills, and now possesses a proper understanding of the weave.

Goals: Protecting his kin, finding his sister, and becoming the perfect elven warrior.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: Due to Laisren's tumultuous childhood he seeks to control everything around him. He has developed an obsessive compulsive personality disorder. He has a soft spot for youth and innocence, but an extreme detachment from others around him. He is quite introverted by nature, does not take criticism well and works better independently.

He is neutral, but only because of his belief that to serve the greater good one must be prepared to make sacrifices. While he has picked up some of his fathers disarming charm this is more of a front, or act, to further his own mission. His sole purpose is to protect elven people, fulfilling what he believes to be his mother's wish.
