Background: He was born in Tavaray, just south of Daggerford. At the age of nine, both his parents died when their wagon tipped over, leaving him to be raised by an apathetic uncle. When he turned fifteen he was sent to apprentice with a local farrier.

On his ninteenth birthday, he moved to Daggerford, where he served in the town militia, both fighting off lizardmen and orc raiders, and caring for the soldier's mounts. He was in his late twenties when he started working at Wayfel's Smithy.

After nearly ten years of the inferior quality of Wayfel's craftsmanship being blamed on him by Wayfel, he joined a caravan heading south. He left the caravan when it got to Baldur's Gate, deciding to see what fortunes the Fates would lead him to.

Goals: To open his own smithy, and to amass enough wealth to not have to work there.
