In regard to DM events and the DM's powers.
Is it possible to ally random NPCs with certain players, but make them hostile to others?
For example, a player necromancer and a horde of skeletons against an opposing force of adventurers.
PvP events?

Re: PvP events?
I know DMs can make normally hostile to players friendly to the player and then fight over normally hostiles. But if that is what you thought, they could just make the NPC adventurers "Defenders or Commoner" and then spawn the Necromancer and skeletons and set them to Hostile. They would duke it out while the Players would be hostile to the Necromancer and Friendly to the Adventurers.
