Re: Thread of infinite appreciation!!
Thank you to everyone who sent their character bios so far. We've recieved quite a lot, in both the public forum and the secret one. It greatly improve the DM's knowlenge about your characters, and the plots that can result from the "hooks" asked in the template will be interesting.
So again, thank you!
I'd also like to promote the roleplay on the forum, via the elfsong/glouras thread. We keep an eye on those forums and plots can result from character's roleplay in there. Be it by DMs or player initiated. Something fun as a story happened today ingame? It can be posted there. There isn't a DM watching over everyone's shoulders constantly, so it's good to know what happens when we ain't there.
Cheers for the community!

Thanks for putting in the new "speech" text for creatures on BG. Very cool.
It had me going for about a half-hour that a DM was toying with me...and I essentially realized I was RP'ing with myself and the computer. That was...interesting.

Wait... So when I saw an Angel summoned and it started talking, that wasn't a DM?stevebarracuda wrote:Thanks for putting in the new "speech" text for creatures on BG. Very cool.

A BIG thank you to DM Passiflora for the great encounter tonight! You brought a new dimension to the NPCs with the colorful and varied personalities, down to the subtle detail. The reactive environment you created kept me guessing and excited. I can hardly wait to see what happens next!

Mad props to Vendetta and the other DM(who's name I cant remember, d'oh sorry!) for springing that insane event on us in the cloakwood/mines today and managing 20 of us yahoos during insane lag. That was SOLID fun despite the lag. Your dishes will be washed and your boots will be shined by th' morn sir!
PS. The end critter, what the heck was it? I couldn't zoom out enough to tell it was so big!

Thank you to VinnytheSquid/Delphinn Veil, for one of the best weeks of RP I have ever had. Your thorough knowledge of the setting, right down to subtle cultural nuances, and your ability to breath life into it through your vivid descriptions that omit no sight, sound or smell, make for an unforgettable experience. It was heaps and heaps of fun.

On the darker side. Pretty sure he's player run, since it's not really the same thing over and over again. It just mostly is.

Re: Thread of infinite appreciation!!
Just a huge thanks to all the players. Ever since I became a DM looking at all the buttons in awe, I have always had patient good players to run events for. Even as I was starting out. Its an absolute pleasure to work with our staff, and I have always been impressed with how the players handled the challenge of the given event. Thanks you guys
I dident see burning down the tavern as the best possible way of going about the situation, but it was effective and I am very glad you did!
