Background:
Being selected at a young age to be an apprentice to the local wizard your training started with books. Although you were a smart student you weren't always diligent at your studies. Often day dreaming and fantasizing about heroics and enemies to be vanquished.
When you became a bit older you were often found at the local garrison watching the guards train and often joining in the training (which annoyed your master immensly). The only reason that your wizard master put up with you was because despite your daydreaming and loitering at the garrison you concluded all tests with succes.
when you were 18 you and you master were tasked by the village elder to go with a squat of the guard to seek out the truth of rumours of a tribe of orcs moving in the vincinity of the village.
when the expedition was 2 weeks away from the village disaster struck: they were ambushed by a group of the vile orcs. In the skirmish that followed some of the soldiers died and your master got seperated from the group. fleeing into the nearby woods your group managed to lose the orcs.
The captain of the guard decided that in order to return to the village they had to take a roundabout course. He ordered you to take the arms and armour of a fallen soldier and serve directly under him.
And so the long trek back to the village started. during that journey they were attacked 3 times but all 3 attacks were repelled. after a journey of more than a month you finally returned to the hamlet, but during the journey you became a fierce warrior.
This the first of your adventures made you decide to leave your village and roam the land to become a hero like the ones you used to read about and determined to fight the evils in the land with both sword and spell.

Goals:
Gather riches, experience adventures and gain knowledge so that you might become a hero and maybe when that is completed start an academy to train and prepare future adventures and maybe even future heroes!
