Today I found a ruin whilst I was poaching wolf hides from the land outside of Baldurs gate for the gold a fellow named Jorn would pay for each one. Inside this ruin were some sleek and crudely dressed little lizard people no bigger than a halfling. I was remiss that they were only hostile and I had no means with which to communicate with them as I thought they looked rather cute and could make their way in the world with a bit of manners and fine clothes. Sadly that was not to be instead I was forced to put them down and release them of their worldly valuables as they attacked me quite viciously. I was not about to let the wounds I took stop me from exploring the ruins for valuable and I vowed I would be back soon. Upon exiting though I came across several people who had organized to explore this place soon. I said my blessings to Tymorra as these people graciously let me accompany them in the looting. I only learned of one of them by name a dashing fellow named Rogon, he was quite the prepared and educated fellow and he saved my life more than a few times. In this daring quest I was able to see many a wonder from the ill spoken Dark elves and a small dragon thing. I was only able to skirt a couple of valuables away from the group with out their knowing or if they did know they simply did not care. This was a good day and goo adventure.
Note to self: Get more potions.

Was another good day I started it by drinking myself blind with money from yesterday. I musta spent 100 gold on drinking. Most of the day was a blur but I remember waking up with more gold less bolts and some new cuts on a bench next to a nice fire. I also feel sick I should see a cleric about this development.
Note to self Spend less on alcohol in the morning and more on it at night.

Was a very good day met a likeable enough brute named Razal I was able to convince him to walk infront of me throughout the ruins I like to frequent. I found plenty more shinies to stuff my pockets with. I was also eavesdropped upon by a paladin I forget his name but I always wonder why do all paladins have so many friends who believe their every word and kiss their arse like some child hiding behind their parent. I find the whole idea of paladins to be completely repulsive and oppressive. I mean it is an entire group of "Priviledged" Individuals chosen by some force we mortals can not understand and their jobs in life is to oppress all others who don't live life to their same unearthly standard and if you can't bend to their oppressive will they will simply end you for their own good.
Ps I love these alexandrites I found they are marvelous.

I spent the better part of the day with my crew, twas festooned with merriment and alchohol followed by the idea that we should go out into the country side where they had heard word that there were orcs. Now we made great day of merriment relieving those disgusting creatures from this world in what I would describe as a small genocide. We took all their valuable and shot them down in droves. We returned pawned off their worldly posessions and regaled of our stories to those who thought they were amusing.
Note to self. Orcs lack pretty things we should focus our idle hands towards those legal for murder that carry nicer things.

I spent most of this day trying my damndest to figure out the puzzle in the ruins 3 floor that I like to frequent. I was able to figure out 2 of the puzzle peices but I am unable to even find the other 2 puzzles to try and figure them out at all. The first statue you must place gold and a halberd upon. The 2nd puzzle it suffices to craft him a peg leg like my old friend gary used to have on that schooner back in the day. Well any who after that I took to pawning all the things I had and went and purchased myself a couple more gems I think I am close to 40 valuable gems I do indeed heart my shinies. I noticed a mine in the Lizard man swamp and so I gathered up my fellows Gristle and Bob both good crew mates and we went raiding it. We saw many a small red man and spiders. The spiders were unlikeable as they merely died and were quite vicious but I found the energetic red men things to be much more fun to shoot especially when they cried and begged for mercy. All and all was yet another good day fer plunderin thank tymorra to bless me and my crew with so many outlets to vent our meaner intentions on in a way that normal folk can smile and think us hero's for ridding the world of "Monsters"
Note to self. Need to explore deeper in the mine as the first level did not have any gems that I could find.

Was a dreary rainy day. I felt too lethargic and a hint of sickness to do very much so I resigned myself to bed and loping about for the day. Little was achieved.

Today I heard a rucus outside of the friendly arm inn. I proceeded to inquire as to what it was when I saw a wagon a well dressed diplomat looking individual and a large cluster of well trained fists. I was curious as to what was going on so I followed them along with many others who had been intrigued by this as well. So after a couple hours of walked and just outside of beregost city the wagon and crew were approached by a man who talked about avoiding war bla bla bla you know you general bleeding heart. I for one think a good war here and there livens things up and keeps people like me busy and productive here I was thinking about waylaying some random passerbys to have them help me solve the puzzles in the ruin I still cant figure the durn things out. I digress though. After this talk which seem ominous enough a wizard with a knife and traps Killed the horse and I couldn't tell but she made a try for the the diplomat I believe there was a bustle and alot of panic I darn near pissed my self when the wizard cast a spell that made the earth and world around me shudder and sway as I ran for cover and hid watching it play out. I still am unsure whether the diplomat was killed or the assassin caught. The guards then bickered about a ship that was sunk and some other stuff. I went back to beregost and had myself a good drink. I have planning to do if a war breaks out so many things one can do to turn a profit and have fun during war time.
(((This is in dwarven)))
My ole mentor told me. Humans don't know a durn thing about how to do escort right and I would have to agree they could have done better with a tougher wagon a tougher means to pull it and scouts to make sure all was safe. I always said that was tedious and expensive but looks like it may well have been worth going that extra mile in this case. He also told me to stop growing taller and to get a beard. I still can't change the fact that I am human and he is just jealous that human women are nicer looking than dwarven women.
Ps. Still thinking of waylaying travelers to solve that puzzle but must exhaust last idea of getting some wizard potions and stuff to figure it out myself.
