Base Class & Proposed Development: Sorcerer (ASAP 'Scholar of Candlekeep' for BG purposes??) possibly Swashbuckler or Dragon Disciple dependent on RP progression.
Habits/Hobbies: Having developed a habit of good study and research from his instructors, he has as knack for carrying around tomes and other wizardly goods. Enjoys viewing and creating art (though not well)

Background:
The early years growing up amongst his elven brethren proved to be a challenge given his physical traits (grandmother was human so he is 1/4th human and 3/4 sun elf). Any given elf distinctly sees the human in him as though he were a half-elf, likewise most other races only see him as a full-elf.
As in his youth, Rubius was sent to study under the scholars at Candlekeep. The reasoning not only being of his human heritage but also because his mother was once apart of the "Swords of the Lady" of Selûne and had some urgent business to attend during those years. While studying it became clear that he could summon magic purely from thought and passions more over than the meticulous study over tomes and meditation. In his spare time Rubius also played sword games with other kids and (coupled with the memories of his mother and father's swords over the mantle) has a fondness for short swords because of this.

Goals:
To study and obtain magical power and artifacts from across Faerûn!

~ Is 1/4th human so most elves would treat him as a half-elf.
~ Mother has never returned from her ordeals with the faction(?) "Swords of the Lady" and what ever the quest(s) she undertook with them.
~Craves magical power and artifacts, has a bit of a fixation for magic in general.
~Loves the element of Fire.
~Relates better to Humans than Elves, acts with more passion than calm restraint.
