Background: Jack grew up in baldurs gate. His Father was a guard for the flaming fist and his mother was a young priestess with the Ladys Hall. It wasn't easy dealing with the strictness of his father followed by the preachings of his mother. He does not hold any resentment towards them though. He realizes that it was his upbringing that has made him the man he is today.
He has learned many things from his father. How to derive the right from the wrong and how to deal with that accordingly is at the frontmost priorities of his mind. He was always fascinated with the work his father was doing for the Flaming Fist and has more than once stood back and watched as his father worked. He eventually attended the local school for law enforcement and martial law. He knows law very well and will not hesitate to make haste to correct someone when they are breaking it.
His mother was not as strict as his father, being a young priestess she spent most of her time at the Hall. Listening to stories about the luck god Tymora and her evil sister Beshaba growing up has sparked a curiosity within him. He will stand by Tymora in everything that he does and will not stand for those who worship Beshaba. He has more than once been in a fight about this point-of-view.
At the age of 18, he decided that it was his time to venture out into the world to find his own meaning, his own road to traverse, his own stories to tell and his own adventures. He will do whatever it takes to help those in need and to punish those who are deserving of it, as appointed by those in charge, of course.

Goals: To find adventure and make good friends, to experience as much as a young boy can so he can have his own stories to tell his children and grand-children.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: Jack has very few fears, but one is Rats, he cannot stand them things, ever since he was in the bar and almost tripped on a pack of them running across the floor. His favorite color is red and he will never turn down a good pint of Ale.
