Habits/Hobbies: No actual hobbies, but she tends to be very quiet and observe people, often talking to her cat Eli. She has recently taken to studying various faiths and is learning about human behavior.

Weapon of Choice: Often chooses not to fight, tends to use magic when she has to, and a long sword or bow when she is forced to.

Background:
Born Eliania Ni’Alo, the once vibrant and knowledgable elven woman made up for in heart, what she lacked in size. Velindur, the beloved though reclusive Elder took in several elves. Eli was one of them. Also among them was an elven male named Nimthanon, one named Urúvan, an elven wizardess who went simply by Vanna, and a few others. They lived well together, Urúvan and Eliania became lovers and she studied arcane arts. Vanna was like a sister to her, before she grew deathly jealous and tried to kill Eliania. She did succeed, but was killed in the attempt. A botched attempt to resurrect her resulted in something that isn’t entirely clear to everyone. Vanna it seemed used a “Wish” spell which made the resurrection difficult, the end result was the coexistence of Vanna and Eliania’s soul in Eliania, and due to the nature of the Wish spell… a fracturing of Eliania’s personality. The resulting years have lead to the persona of Echo… who is at best, complex.

OOC note: She was around for a time on the server, had been granted citizenship to Doron Amar on the condition that she learned to control her magic, and was also brought into the Elven academy to further that goal. Due to real life constraints, Vanna began to reassert control, Echo became largely confused by the concepts of faith and her own existence, fearing she would hurt someone, she simply wandered away from the Coast… (so I could focus on Scarlett and Meri, but now I can focus on Echo and Scarlett)

Goals: She seeks a way to separate Vanna from herself or to ‘make her self whole and find solitude’. She also wishes to learn much of what was lost to her from her arcane studies. Very recently she has begun to explore faith, and has taken an interest in human culture.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: This one I can hardly sum up in something small, I am deliberately leaving this character and journal vague and abstract. She’s got a weird background but a lot of it is fluid and flexible. She is an intense character that can be difficult to follow at times… due to the nature of Vanna’s wish spell she is highly unstable, as is her magic… which tends to make her a walking time bomb, but who knows, she may never go nuclear either.

On an OOC note, she was designed to fill time and space, and keep me entertained when I want to practice multitasking. It is an old character concept that followed me, like Meri and Scarlett, from PnP.
