Isenduil is a tall, thin elf, with dark hair kept in loose braids about his angular face. He has darker skin than many of his kind, though not oddly so. His green eyes are striking in their brightness. He chooses mostly earth tones for his clothing, preferring to blend in and not draw un-necessary attention to himself.

Among Isenduil's hobbies are song writing, wood carving, cooking, and reading. He enjoys researching old tomes greatly, and originally came to the Sword Coast to visit Candlekeep, a goal he has not yet accomplished.

Background:

Isenduil came to the Sword Coast in search of knowledge and experience as an archer. He grew to adulthood in the forests around Myth Drannor, near to Deepingdale. His people have long been the defenders of the old ways in the Cormanthor and he wishes to join that effort. He hopes to become the best of the best with his chosen weapon, and has learned to tap into the Elemental Plane of Earth to enhance his arrows as they leave his bow.

Isenduil's family were simple villagers. They had little, but needed little. They knew the lands and how to live well using them, and knew little more. At an early age, Isenduil showed an affinity for song, followed closely by a remarkable skill with bows. His aim was second to none of his own age, and to several years worth of jealous archers ahead of him as well.

Goals:

To learn ancient lore and to grow as an archer. He wishes to return home one day and join the ranks of the elite archers of his people in the Cormanthor, defending the lands with his arrows.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:

Since he arrived in Baldur's Gate, Isenduil has grown steadily as an archer. His enemies often fall swiftly to his arrows, but he has grown dissatisfied with the quality of his bow. He seeks a greater weapon, one of ancient crafting that would, in his hands, become a weapon of legend upon the passage of years.

Isenduil also greatly desires entrance to the library of Candlekeep, but has yet to find a tome of suitable worth for entry.
