Elycia emerges from the Baldur's Gate Gazette office, tired from a long day of work. Her small fingers were stained in black ink.
“Gods, if I ever needed a drink..” she murmurs to herself as she walks through the city. It begins to rain as she walks; the young lady looks up to the overcast skies and grumbles.
She nears the center square near the East Gate and drops a silver coin in the minstel's basket. Tucking a stray strand of auburn hair behind her ear, Elycia ducks underneath the small awning that shelters the noticeboard as she waits for the smur of rain to subside.
As she waits, her attention is piqued by a new notice on the board. Elycia repeats to herself as she scans over it,
“...Duo of.. brothers...”
“...Mercenaries..”
“...Blade and Stars..”
She rereads the notice, once. The young woman immediately then pivots on her heel and sets off towards the Blade and Stars Inn, now seeming quite unconcerned with the rain.

A finely dressed woman in a feathered hat pauses at the billboard and reads the note. Upon coming to the end she groans audibly, and walks off in the opposite direction, going anywhere but the Blade & Stars while those unfunny clowns are there.
