Appearance: Tall as an average man, and no remarkable traits, he doesn't stand out in a crowd, which suits him just find. On his right hand he bears several scars from a run-in with a wolf when he was younger.
Race: Human
Age: 20
Height: 6' 1”
Weight: 185 lbs
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Light Brown
Facial Hair Style: Light Beard

Personality Profile: Feels very removed from society, and has trouble striking up a conversation. Rather quite, but when he does speak, he makes sure its heard. Only knowing the travels of a lone refugee, Mazuick most likely wouldn't seek out a group to travel with. To those hes close too hes jovial, always making quips and remarks about the day to day activities and events around him.

General Health: Fit, general diet, nothing out of the ordinary (Simple meals)
Deity: While Mazuick acknowledges the gods existence, he fail to have faith in them, believing their actions in the Material realm only cause more problems then they solve. He understands as he stands his soul is bound for the wall, to become another stone in the wall encircling the City of Judgment.

Initial Alignment: Neutral good

Profession: Farmer, town militia until fleeing.

Base Class & Proposed Development: Fighter, until level 4, afterwords begins to train as a ranger. (Divine Spell-casting: I believe I want him to find faith at some point in his journey)

Habits/Hobbies: Carries a small gold coin that his father found while exploring as a kid, when nervous or deep in thought Mazuick tends to fiddle and flip the coin around. (The coin is a mint from an old empire, the face of the coin is long since faded.)

Languages: Common, attempting to learn elven.

Weapon of Choice: Longsword

Background: Mazuick grew up in a very average sort of way, helping around his fathers farm, being taught everything he would need to run the farm when his father passed away. In his teenage years he felt he had a duty to the town he lived near and joined the local militia, balancing farm work and militia training delicately. Taking well to his duties in the militia, his captain gave him an early promotion and allowed him to join patrol duty in the nearby forested region. During one such patrol, Mazuick witnessed, along with the other two militiamen with him, an execution. A local nobleman executed two peasants on the trail, the executioner being one of the nobleman's hired guards. The nobleman saw the patrol approaching, and ordered his guard to kill any witnesses. The guard in question happened to be an experienced mercenary and dispatched the two militiamen with ease. When he set upon Mazuick, did what anyone would. Mazuick ran, fleeing the region, and heading south. Shortly afterwords, while resting at an Inn south of the town, the guard caught up with him and attempted to finish the job. Mazuick managed to once again flee, deciding he should leave the area completely. Coming upon the city of Baldur's Gate, began to formulate a plan to hide there.

Goals: Escape the Guard who has been chasing him down the sword coast, and eventually avenge the deaths at the hands of that nobleman. Longer term goals include perusing the adventurous life, as his sudden flight from home has most likely painted him as the culprit.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: Most obvious plot hook, the guard catches up and Mazuick and him fight to the death, the nobleman continues to send assassins to kill Mazuick hoping to silence him (Mazuick doesn't even know the nobleman in question, as the nobleman is just being paranoid.)
