"ok mother" replied Saline as she crawled into her mother's lap.

"Why walk around in a catatonic state or filled with anger… nothing gets solved that way. Put on that “happy face”, even if you have to sew one on with the sinew of your enemies, and smile everywhere you go. Soon others will think that you are happy. Perhaps they will walk around and smile with you. In time they will trust you… and it is that moment when revenge is its sweetest." With that mother Le'dwent smiled and kissed Saline's forehead, and sent her off to play.
