I have several thank you's to pass out.

First off, to our development staff: Constantly improving the game system Atari saw fit to leave us stuck with.

Secondly, to our DM team: The most overworked, stretched thin and utterly under appreciated group of people I have ever known in my life, who despite this, continue to be the most dedicated, persistent and stellar part of the collaborative narrative by giving us a stage and plenty of props to run with as players.

Third, to the players: many of whom I treasure dearly as both friends and counterparts in the role play I have partaken of here. If not for each of you, I would be terribly bored in my 'no internet free time' because I would have nothing to write about, nor any further inspiration for future rp.

Fourth, to the entire community as a whole: for years of amusement and camaraderie. Also for the trust you have placed in me, especially over the last year. This truly is one of the best servers out there, with a phenomenal community to back it.

Specifically:

DM Fugue and Aelcar (and the same character of that name) for the hours of enjoyment I have garnered from a simple 'behind the scenes, backstage' type plot. It has brought light to my rather sparse playtimes of late, and allowed a character I didn't expect to grow much, much less very quickly, a bit of a growth spurt and evolution that I had not expected.

Most especially thank you for your understanding when dealing with sick kids and constant interruptions to game time that spanned 10-15 minutes on average. Stomach bugs are no fun, but between the computer and some movie rentals, it was more bearable. I'm just glad the kids aren't sick today... so I can write instead of do more laundry. =)

I thank you for the part concerning me, but it is I who should thank you for the hours of fun. I completely agree with the rest of your post: This server quickly became a second home to me. I live abroad, and know few people here. My girlfriend is very often gone for work, and I really enjoy coming online and playing with you guys. I found the staff to be extremely caring , and despite their dwindling numbers they always reply, and always try to make everyone happy. A big thank you for the developers: guys, what you have done for this PW in terms of areas, custom effects, special feats, races, quests and whatnot is just unbelievable; you really helped giving me the "freedom feeling" typical of PnP.
I can say in all honesty that I found extremely good DMs, creative and original, deep plots, and the immersion is just fantastic...I find it hard to disconnect most of the times, but I gladly live with the lack of sleep :).
And about the playerbase: whoever says this is not an RP server doesnt know what he is talking about, or didnt play here enough. Players here are caring OOC, and extremely good IC RPwise. It's always a pleasure to spend my time online.

I played on several PWs, and some 20 years of PnP, so I have a decent amount of experience. I can safely say this is a fantastic server to play on, and you all make it so. Keep having fun playing, and keep it up guys :). Thank you.

I'd just like to thank the players who were in my events last 2 months or so. Thanks for making sure that I enjoyed DMing for you, we got wonderful RPers here. Sometimes I'm tempted to just drop what I'm doing/spawning during the event and just watch you RP. When running events becomes a task for a DM, things go downhill.. thanks for not letting that happen to me. I appreciate it.

Good to have you here. Thanks for taking some time out from your busy RL schedule to enlighten us with your wisdom, kindness.

I'm also pretty convinced our dev team members have finally done it and cloned themselves a few times just like Luna had done already (Yes, Luna has 5 clones that's how he does all that work). Don't know how they produce all this work with such a small team. Thank you for being super modest and nice while doing all that work guys.

And my final thank you to ze Head DM, he's been taking care of us in the past few days. Sorted out a few things that were troubling us and he did it LIKE A BOSS  . Always listens to what we have to say as well, thank you so much Charraj.

I'd just like to thank everyone who participated in the Open Stage Show the other day. It was a really good first show of the year, great turn-out and excellent performances. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did, and that you'll all come along to the next one.

I'd also like to thank DMs Lyrewyn and Passiflora for helping out with snow and prizes and just generally being cool.

I would also like to thank Lyrewyn. For a very fun and pretty long RP event. And for putting up with it being so long. It was the first DM event I had on Baelather where I really got to show his more soldierish side. Also I was near foaming at the mouth with glee when I read that Silias and Baelather were acknowledged as Heroes by the Fist because of the Fist callin' Baelather BK when he was talkin' to 'em.

It's 5:28 so I wish I could type properly.

Thanks Lyrewyn! Or is it two Ns? I don't know! It was an awesome event nevertheless. I liked my good points!

What has been done since I play on this server (at least), and in particular this weekend, was the most majestic effort I've ever seen since the times of hardcore PnP. What you created here was a paradise for every RP lover on the server. Thanks to all the staff and players involved.
The commitment and competence shown by the DMs in these difficult circumstances were impressive to say the least.

Also, special thanks to the Doron Amar members (yeah guys, you rock! :) ), risking their lives and their very souls to bring Aelcar back from hell (quite literally). Also: Alea, Anona, that guy loves you <3. Thanks to Ellivanna for putting up with an overzealous Paladin through hours long sessions of RP, in which I had a wonderful time.

Thanks to all the DMs, as I mentioned before, in particular the ones who followed my toons with interest lately: DM TheVoid, DM Passiflora, DM Lyrewyn and DM Fugue (in alphabetical order). You guys perfectly know how to challenge a player, how to create an engaging story and develop it. You gave me a great time, ready for more anytime :P

Last weekend was the total bomb. Awesome stuff, guys. Great thanks to the entire DM team for making the Server come alive as a whole.

Also, let's not forget a big thank you to the build team for making all those wonderful areas that give the war a real feel. The area's look great guys, wicked job.

First, I'm thanking Fugue. That Thayan thing was "Gordon-Freeman-Teabagging-Master-Chief-While-Punching-Out-A-Gorilla-With-Shark-Arms-In-Front-Of-An-Exploding-Deathstar" levels of awesome. I had loads of fun, and am seriously looking forward to the next faction event. It's stuff like this that makes me proud to have rolled up a Red Wizard.

Secondly, I'm thanking the team of Baldur's Gate vs. Amn warmasters. Admittedly I didn't participate in a lot of your work, just sat around with the other Thayans collecting facts and doing Risk X Advantage = Profits math, but I didn't need to be a member of these events to feel the effects of its execution. The server has been changed, and nothing will ever be the same. I'm really looking forward to the aftermath, and shifting political scheme that will result. So, as a Dolphin far wiser than myself once said, "Thanks for all the fish".
