Patrol Log 134527
Tonight I patrolled from the Friendly Arms Inn, to the East Cloakwood, to the Northwest Cloakwood, to the Haunted Mansion within, back to the East Cloakwood, to Candlekeep, to the Friendly Arms Inn, then all the way north to the Baldur’s Gate Cemetery.
Friendly Arms Inn- I traveled past the Fire Pit on my way to the East Cloakwood. As I past I heard more arguing. I feel that mostly people go there to cause confrontation with others. I would advise every one of the Order to simply continue their patrols and bring healing and help to the people who are out and about. Remember the Code and the rule on Industry and we shall be fine.
East Cloakwood- Upon entering the woods I met a group of adventurers. I greeted them and asked them how their night was. I thanked them all for trying to keep the woods safe for people. I have heard of the Lizards attacking on sight and sometimes attacking people at the Fire Pit. One man whose name I did not get said he was not here to protect the weak. This bothered me a bit but another man made a comment to the man who spoke ill, about chivalry. The other man answered back saying that chivalry and doing a good thing were useless. Most of the group ran off and the man who spoke up about chivalry stood there in silence. I felt for the man and then looked at him asking him if he would like to help me show what chivalry and doing a good thing can accomplish. He graciously said yes, so I cast upon him the highest blessings and protections I could of Lathander (+5). It was a wonderful thing to see the man’s spirit uplifted. He thanked me for the blessings and I of course thanked him for his kind words and his viewpoint. It was then that another group came upon us as the man headed out.
An Elf, a man with an eye patch and others began speaking of a Lich and asking for aid. I easily offered it and we set off.
Northwest Cloakwood- Nothing unusual to report
Haunted Mansion - We entered the mansion and I turned the undead within to better aid the others in putting them to their final rest. We entered the top of the mansion and again I turned the undead. The lich was finally destroyed and we then exited the mansion without incident.
East Cloakwood - We entered the woods and came upon a slain man’s body lying in the grass. I kneeled and tried to resurrect him, but his soul would not answer the call. I then gently closed the man’s eyes and looked to my companions. I began to say that I would take the man to the nearest temple so the priests could find his family and he could get a proper burial. Before I could finish one man poured oil on the body and set it on fire. I was shocked and dismayed at this and told them that the man may have a family and they should have been notified. It was then that they began stomping out the flames, including stomping on the slain man’s head. One picked up the unrecognizable body and handed it to me. I instantly cast regeneration upon the body to make it whole again and looked at the group telling them as kindly as I could that we would be parting ways. I thanked them for helping to destroy the lich and then proceeded to head to the nearest temple. I did however make sure to take note of their descriptions.
Candlekeep - I went directly to the temple in Candlekeep and gave the slain man’s body to the priests within so they could notify his family if he had any. I then gave a fifty gold donation to the temple and gave the priest all the gold I had left so he could give it to the family of the slain man to help them in their time of grief. It was with a heavy heart that I then continued on my patrol.
Friendly Arms Inn - I saw Vanira upon a hill and greeted her as I continued on my patrol. She seemed deep in thought though so I did not wish to bother her more.
Baldur’s Gate Cemetery - I met a lady and a gentleman who were battling the undead here. They were very kind and I blessed them with Lathander’s protections and blessings so that they could better lay the undead to rest. We had a lovely conversation and it was uplifting to me even in such a place to see some people trying to do good. After saying our goodbyes I headed back to the temple of Tyr.

Patrol Log 134528
Today Lady Angelina and I patrolled from the Friendly Arms Inn down to Beregost, to Nashkel, to the Amn Mountains, To the Mountain Summit, back down the Mountain to Lake Weng, into a Vault of the Dead then back to the Friendly Arms Inn.
Friendly Arms Inn- I met Lady Angelina here and we decided our route for patrol.
Beregost- Nothing unusual to report
Nashkel- We met a nice lady and I believe one of the Dwarven Slayers. They appeared hurt so I helped to tend their wounds from whatever battle they had been in. We of course asked the Dwarf to pass on to his kin that the Order of the Silver Rose is more than willing to aid them if they decide to retake their stronghold. I know we will offer them every member we can spare in this.
Amn Mountains - We fought many creatures as we went higher into the mountains. Hill Giants, Elementals, and Yeti’s seem to be predominant but a few Frost Giants were spotted. Angelina's fireburst spell was a life saver on many occasions. We shall have to keep a good patrol here.
Amn Mountain Summit - We discovered a rather large cave at the top and decided it would be best to venture deeper when we had more knights. We shall make note of it and come back when we have gathered.
back down the Amn Mountain - We found a few Giant camps, and battled some Duergars on a bridge. We need to explore this area more on our next patrol.
Lake Weng - We found a crypt here and decided to investigate.
Amn Vault of the Dead - We entered and found this place housed many rather large and powerful undead. Thankfully my faith in Lathander and his divine blessings aided us and the Undead were turned allowing us to destroy them without incident. A rather large Shadow Fiend appeared and that too was turned and then set to its final rest. Lady Angelina's arcane spells were a blessing in this dank crypt as they helped to destroy the undead at a much faster rate, sending them to their final rest without pause. We shall have to bring the other knights here as well in order to lay the undead to their final rest.

Travel Back - The travel back was much the same in battling the creatures of the Amn Mountains. I am very Glad Lady Angelina came along with me for I do not beleive I could have made this patrol so far south alone.

*Svetlana leaves notes to the others in her Order*
Made much ground today on patrol between Baldur's Gate to Beregost and back. Saw little in the way of unusual activity. Then on way back heard of strange activity in graveyard by Gate so went to investigate where met with others of OSR. We banded with other adventurers and pushed back and eliminated threat to the lands. After much fighting we all left graveyard to rest and recover.
Then move back out on patrol after resupply to Nashkel where fight into the hills. Night was growing long and daylight growing short so decide to retire before going into the snowy hills.
Head back to fields to help farmers weed out unwanted plants to increase the harvest until moon rises.
*Several small seeds are stuck to the ink on the page*

I would like to add to Squire Svetlana's entry with this one. The Necromancer that seemed to be causing the issues in the cemetery was laid to his final rest. I am hoping with that done we can cleanse the cemetery of the taint. I took a sample of soil this morning to test, perhaps we can still hollow and sanctify the grounds.

Patrol Log 134531
Tonight Lady Angelina, Sir Mordalen, Squire Svetlana and I traveled from the Friendly Arms Inn to the Cloakwood to the Haunted Mansion within the Northwest Cloakwood.
Friendly Arms Inn - Here Lady Angelina, Squire Svetlana and I met up and began our journey.
Cloakwood - Nothing unusual to report.
Haunted Mansion - It is here that we met up with Sir Mordalen and then were instantly attacked by animated armor. We made our way to the second floor of the mansion. The area reeked of death and decay as vampires assaulted us. After clearing the second floor we made our way to the third. The battle was intense and thankfully we were able to keep the Shadow Fiend, the Death Knight, and the Flaming Skulls turned while we battled the creature someone we met had reffered to as Chaos. It did summon a Demon to fight beside it but thankfully by working together we prevailed. Everyone played their part excellently and helped to protect each other.
Note: I have sent a letter to the Commander in regards to promoting Sir Seth to Knight Warrant and a request to make Squire Svetlana a Knight Errant.

Re: The Order of the Silver Rose rp
\\\ This is a private report Given personally to Sir William by Sir Seth Siger (Seth) Knight Warrant
I am sad to report it seems that the inevitability of war is upon us. Today as I was returning to the Friendly Arms Inn, I witnessed a brigade of Fist soldiers heading South. I was told that they were heading to Beregost, and that Amn was goin to invade the town. So I followed to render aid and to protect the innocents of the township. Although upon arriving I saw no burning buildings and nothing amiss. The townfolk even seemed surprised at the arrival of such a massive army into their town. The Fist set up their camps with their tents, war towers, and weapons of war on the south end of town. Moving them From the other places including the Friendly Arms Inn. I passed many a brigade of soldiers headin south on my way back from Beregost.
While I was in Beregost I remained quiet and listened to the conversations around me. The Adventurers were a quite diverse mix in their opinions. From wanting the battle to happen to many that were very saddened by the turn of events. and everywhere in between. This leads me to believe this will be an unpopular war to say the least. With, as anyone who has either been involved or witnessed such a tragedy as war knows, the innocents payin as high of price as those who participate in it.
I suggest We make regular visits on our patrols to Beregost and its surrounding farms to render any aid to those in need. But this also brings up the question.......
With so many Soldiers of the Fist on the lines to the South, it will also open opportunities for mischief and evil doins from the Friendly Arms Inn Northwards. This must be addressed as well.

*Haeman writes in the patrol log used by all Knights and Squires to detail events of note while they travel the lands.*
Patrol Log 134533
Tonight Lady Angelina, Sir Mordalen, Squire Tara, then potential squire Maddock (now Squire Maddock), Revenark Stonehold (former Commander of the Order) and I traveled from the Friendly Arms Inn to the Cloakwood to the Haunted Mansion within the Northwest Cloakwood and then to another plane, and back to the Friendly Arms Inn area.
Friendly Arms Inn - Here Lady Angelina, Squire Tara, Squire Maddock, Revenark, and I had followed Celduil to meet the other Elves of the Enclave of the Green Triad. We were informs that a child had gone missing and vampires may be involved. So we all began our journey into the Cloakwood.
Cloakwood - The Elven trackers followed the trail deeper and deeper into the forest until we came to the mansion.
Haunted Mansion - Here we prepared and entered the Mansion. We explored inside, room to room and things began to become eerie. Doors began to slam shut, and a voice eerily spoke to us. It warned us to leave, to go no further but we continued on. The abducted child had to be rescued. We entered the second floor and battled the Vampires within. Once the floor was clear of Vampires we then headed to the third floor. After a short battle with the master vampire within and its minions a black fog appeared. The fog filled the room and all went black and I could not see the others. It was when the fog cleared that we realized we were not in the mansion any longer. After some investigation we learned we were on another plane.
Unknown Plane - We began to travel through the corridors of the temple that we were in. It reeked of evil and sent chills through many who traveled with us. It did not take long before Shadow fiends, Vampires and other undead began to attack. The Elven Archers made short work of them as I did all I could to hold them back with my faith. As we walked we then heard the sound of a child pleading for help. After the Elven druid who had changed into a great earth elemental bashed to door down we found a small girl covered in blood and a young man passed out on the ground. To our horror it seems the Vampires had been feeding on them and also feeding them blood. Lady Angelina and squire Tara tried to help the young girl by feeding her some bread and giving her water to drink. I tried to tend to the wounds of the young man. After a few it was decided we would carry them with us in the back as the others lead the way. We did not get far until we found another room with a young boy inside. With so many innocents around I decided to stay behind in the room to protect them as the others continued on. I believe I made the right call in that together the group was strongest, and if undead did try to get the children I was certain my faith in Lathander would help to protect them.
I waited a good long while until one of the Elven maidens returned with a small elf child and then she ran off to rejoin the others. I must say this Elven child did love to talk. He spoke of Councilor Rhys at length and of what he saw and even things I am not sure had anything to do with the matters at hand. I was glad he was well enough to talk and seemed in good spirits. He was still telling me stories when the others did finally return with the body of the abducted girl Nessa who we had tracked. I was not there for the battle but it seems a creature had turned her into a vampire and they were forced to slay her. We gathered the children and the body of Nessa and made our way to the portal we had saw when we first arrived. Once there we all entered the portal and found ourselves in what one refered to as Paladin’s cove in the Friendly Arms Inn area.
Friendly Arms Inn - We arrived here in the water and Squire Maddock placed the body of Nessa on the sand. I then pulled out a diamond and tried to resurrect her. To our sadness she would not answer the call and Celduil said he would ensure her family was found and notified. The children were then taken to the Orphanage so that their parents could be found and later as word was sent, their parents did come and get them.
Note: We must ensure to patrol the Mansion more often, and I have recently gone there by myself and destroyed yet another master vampire on the third floor. Perhaps looking into a way to permanently cleanse the building is something we should look into.

Patrol Log 134534
Was on patrol between Beregost and the Friendly Arms Inn when met with Celasorsan Long Feather. He mention killings in Cloakwood. Am requesting increased patrols in Cloakwood. Went to Cloakwood after speaking with sir and there met one travelling forest but no unusual danger. Traveller gave some interesting information which have detailed in private letter to each knighted member ((ooc: available on the OSR private forums)).

*Haeman writes in the patrol log used by all Knights and Squires to detail events of note while they travel the lands.*
Patrol Log 134536
War has come to the region.
Lion’s Way- There the Order met and received word from Sir Seth of the attack from Amn forces upon Beregost. He spoke of trying to heal all he could and help evacuate the people. It seems the Fist Forces were pushed back as the Amn Soldiers took the city. There is much talk of what is going on and people are continueing to stream down to the south. Lady Elvina decides that we should set up a Triage station in the Lion’s way. We gather the supplies and tents we have stockpiled since first learning of this war. Many pass and I follow one down into the warzone.
Fist Encampment Beregost- I traveled to the Fist front lines following a Dwarf we speak to the Fist Guard and he gives us permission to head in. I speak more to the Fist inside learning what I can and then I notice adventurers running in and the Dwarf comes back speaking of someone injured in the city and many guards. Without hesitation I enter the city and seek out the fallen person. Fortunately I do find them and am able to heal their very grave wounds. I have to fight a Amn soldier who was very well trained and a guard dog but Thankfully Lathander is with me. Once back outside the city I notice another group of Adventurers ready to head in. I know now that the triage station Lady Elvina set up will be very much needed so I head back north.
Lion’s Way- At the Triage camp set up by the Order of the Silver Rose I return to a Fist guard asking for help along with a small child. We of course offer our aid and find out that a group of Amn soldiers have been bullying a Family traveling to Baldur’s Gate with their Leather works. We defeated the Amn soldiers and help heal those of the family that had been hurt. We continue our aid and head south to the Fist frontline to speak to the fist but it seems they are very busy and a Lt Velks is handing out orders to adventurers. So we head back up to the Lion’s Way and continue our Triage efforts while passing information to those who pass, warning them of what lies south and informing them to speak to Lt. Velks for more information if needed.
Later We raise another person the Orc Lady Kaltyra had brought in.
A colossal Golem attacks the station and we defend ourselves and it is finally brought down.
Sir Juez from the Radiant Heart and many others show with refugees. It seems Sir Juez has rallied others in the hopes of aiding those that can be. They take comfort at the camp while Juez and others including Revenark and Sir Seth head back south to gather more. We give the refugees food, water and blankets. Lady Svetlana sits around a campfire telling them stories of Rashamen in order to keep them thinking on something else. Lady Elvina and I continue to offer information to those who pass by or wish to help.
Sir Juez comes back with more refugees and the camp is now massive. We also seem to be gathering adventurers as well. In the midst of this Sir Juez and the one they call Knives inform me they are heading to Gyllykin to scout. We wish them luck as they head off and we continue to tend to the Refugees who are now ready to head to the Friendly Arms Inn. Also a man is brought in by Kaltyra the orc and she and Herren help to nurse him back to health.
Miss Gina who has been interested in joining the Order and was given a copy of our code arrives and expressed her desire to become a squire. Lady Elvina gives me permission to perform a field promotion for Gina and on that grassy hill she becomes a Squire of the Order of the Silver Rose.
Juez comes back with Knives and report a possible ambush south of gullykin and ask us to inform those heading south. They inform me they will be heading north through the Forest of Sharp Teeth in order to get to Gullykin.
More people pass and we continue to aid them. Some adventurers bring those mortally wounded to the camp and either myself or one of our other priests attempt to raise, heal or offer some aid to them.
I receive a sending spell from Juez who informs me that Gullykin is under attack and aid is needed. I tell everyone at the Triage Camp of this and Revenark and his kin (the dwarves) along with others head t Gullykin to help protect it.
Lady Elvina asked myself and Sir Seth to head south again and gather information. We meet a man just before the Fist front line who has more refugees to have taken north. Sir Seth asks to take them back, and I am glad for his help. He takes the Refugees north while I head to meet the Fist. There I find out that someone called the “general in the dark” was instrumental in fending off an Amn flanking maneuver that could have been destructive to the Fist. The Fist guard speaks of the Golden Legion and their power. I realize then that the Amn soldier I fought in Beregost earlier that day had to be one of such a Legion. I head back north to report my findings to Lady Elvina.
Upon reaching the camp Sir Seth and another Halfling are just beginning to head out with the refugees he had gathered. I make my report to Lady Elvina and use the sending spell to inform Juez of the situation south. It is a few hours later and I receive a response back that Juez and those who fought at Gullykin were successful.
The man I sent to the fist front line comes back and makes his report. He then asks for more to do and Lady Elvina has him gather others and begin to help set up tents and gather supplies. Soon the entire Lionsway is full of tents and gear.. That man sure does work tohugh his choice of full faced helmet seems to make it hard for him to hear.
