Appearance: Reddish orange hair, and dusky leathery skin. A large scar runs down his face from what appears to be a wicked wound. An eyepatch hides what you can only assume is a disfigurement. Hard lines crease his face, despite the robes, the man appears in excellent physical condition.

Age: 35 appears much older

General Health: Looks much older than his physical age whether this is due to a hard life or years of travel is unknown.

Background:

In his earlier days he was a Mercenary Captain for the Zhent, however he was court-martialed and slated for execution for his extreme tactics. While attempting to oust a rebel insurgency he unleashed a plague that wiped out half a battalion of Zhent troops, althouth rebel activity in the area shrank to nothing the methods employed were detestable even for Zhent standards.

After his capture, he used his knowledge of Alchemy and his power to manipulate the weave to make the zhent believe he had succumbed to the plague he unleashed. He managed to escape from the mass grave he was to be interred in during nightfall. Making his way to the nearest port he snuck aboard the first ship leaving port.

The facade he used worked too well. The crew quickly began to succumb to illness around him. Only his knowledge of the weave and devotion to Myrkul allowed him to weather the storm of disease and death that followed. With the crew gone, Aleister let the winds carry him where they would, he survived off rat's and rainwater collected above decks.

Aleister drifted uncaring contemplating his fate among the seas. He weakened from exhaustion and malnutrition but however much he wanted to die, death would not come for him. In a fevered dream he had a vision of a crowned skull above a great city near the coast. As he watched bloody tears began running down the skull's face as they fell they became mist landing amongst the streets and alley's of the city. Where they landed green mist spread throughout and screams could be heard erupting from within. As the greenish haze enveloped the city it began to spread out from the city enveloping the surrounding countryside. The chorus or screams joined together in a panolopy of pain all the while Aleister looked on at the rictus grin of the crowned skull. The vision departed and he awoke. Struggling towards the railing he looked outward. A coastline lay out before him a great city in the distance. Aleister smiled, he new his place in the world. Closing his eyes, he leaped overboard.

Goals: Work towards fulfilling his vision. Evade agent's of the Zhent if at all possible as he is known to be dead.
