Faerynn stands about 6'1", has brown hair and an oak brown complexion. He is strong for his size, and strongly built. He is the younger brother of Elohir the Ranger, a member of the Keepers of the Elder Circle. He wields a spear in one hand, and a shield in the other.

Faerynn was born in the High Forest, the second son of Anilyssa and Elhirymaar. Anilyssa was a Druidess, servant of Mielikki and keeper of her grove while Elhirymaar was a protector of the forest, a Ranger who served both Silvanus and Mielikki. He and his brother grew up in the care and instruction of their parents raising them as Ranger and Druid.
