To the Council of Doron Amar

Greeting to the magnificent representatives of the city of Doron Amar. My name is Barwing and I am a human veteran soldier and former military advisor. I have been advising the former elven town council of Eldengard, before it was razed to the ground. It might not sound favorably of my skills and me at all, however given the situation there was little else that could have been done that time, especially that the problem involved the drow and all I could have done is to minimise the death toll that day was to secure a refugee route. I would write more however I do not want to raise any attention to my person, should this letter fall into the dark hands.

I have appointed this messenger to provide you with a gift as a sign of my friendly intentions. Please accept this elven sword to your armory. It served me well over the years and I somewhat feel sentimental about it. However I believe it should return to the hands of the ones who put much effort to forge this perfect piece of blacksmith craft.

It would honor me, if again could offer my services and provide advice for your proud kin once more. Should you consider this message favorably, please send the reply with the same messenger. He knows best how to find me.

Laisren intercepts the messenger, and reads the note. While he at first shakes his head with typical elven cynicism, he knows that any such aid can not readily be turned down. He quickly pens a letter and tells the messenger to return such to the sender.
