Background:
Born in a Evereska, Calenglir was raised to idolize the Hawkeyes, priests of the People's god of hunt, Solonor Thelandira. Like most elves who take the Keen-Eye as their patron god, he was thought archery and hunting at an early age. Of course he wasn’t much in those two fields, but not bad either. Just average, for an elf. Something he deeply regrets, and daily he prays to the Great Archer to help him overcome this perceived shortcoming.

Most Solonorian specialty priests are Rangers, so while Calenglir has some experience with scouting and tracking, he is considered part of the clergy. Of course most of this is relegated to maintaining the flora and fauna of the surrounding environs. The occasional orc band may pop up from time, and Calenglir and his fellow Rangers have enough experience in hunting them down.

Calengir is a devout worshiper of Solonor, this of course meant that he was a bit ignorant of the world outside. Something that he admits needs fixing, thus developing a rather inquisitive demeanor. He also has a tendency to talk too much and ask too many questions. Some might even say, ramble on too long. Many of the more senior members of the clergy find it to be quite taxing, but cannot deny that his skill for tracking is a boon to the church and the community. One day, the Half-Elven Gold Eagle (highest ranking priest) of their temple saw a vision: a rain of arrows on the sword coast near Baldur’s Gate. He saw this as Solonor wanting them to spread their influence in the area. Many interpretations of the dream have been made, possibly war or some sort of divine punishment for the Sword Coast cities that defy the balance. Some are even bold to say that perhaps the old half-elf was just going senile. It wasn't long until a compromise was reached. Rather than send an entire contingency, it was decided to send a fledgling . The vote was unanimous: send the most annoying (but faithful) fledgling to establish the Church of the Keen-Eye in the area near Baldur’s Gate.

Personality and Speech Patterns.

Overly curios but surprisingly articulate (devout priest tend to study a lot) for someone who came from a very isolated community. Somewhat naive of the world (once thought Thayans were a Paladin order when speaking with Mage Styles). He does however tend to be indecisive, as the tenets of his faith tell him to be careful and weigh options and their long-term consequences (was unable to act when Narindir was killed by hin and its pet). Dislikes violence but realizes it's necessity (Tried to stop Narindir from attacking an orc outside the FAI) As one how is more of a follower he seems to speak in a position of a subordinate, calling everyone sir, madam, m'lady (quessir/etriel for male/female elves of high stature) etc.
